  2. https://www.kidslogic.toys/pages/minitechgames Kids Logic is proud to announce our new product line, MiniTech (stands for Miniature Technique), a miniature model series for tabletop games. Each (1/285 scale) miniature stands approximately 4-7 cm tall, capturing the favourite characters and mecha from anime. All miniatures are featured in detail sculptures and come with dynamic posture. We have prepared over 50 miniatures to be manufactured in 2019-2020. They will be scheduled to release every month starting from Oct 2019. This non-painted multi-part resin kit contains less than 5 components. It could be assembled by super glue within 10 minutes. Super glue is not included in this kit.
  3. Hi Macross fans on the Macross World forums. I am doing a post on the censored/edited content of The Super Dimension Fortress Macross when it was adapted into the Macross Saga of Robotech. The post is inspired by the popular Anime uncensored websites such as Dragon Ball Z Uncensored, Sailor Moon Uncensored, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Uncensored, and Anime News Network The Edit List as we all know the first half of Robotech based on Super Dimension Fortress Macross was butchered by Harmony Gold with many changes. Including changes to tie in with the later unrelated TV series that it uses. Note that this project is WIP at the moment, but will update it if fans can help me out on this. And the comparisons are using the Japanese subtitle/ADV dub version with the original 1985 broadcast version of Robotech as the bases. It is worth mentioning that the Harmony Gold VHS Volume 1: Booby Trap/2004 Remaster version of the episodes from Harmony Gold do exist, but they are not as badly censored as the1985 broadcast version of Robotech. Lets begin! General changes Dialog with cursing/other questionable stuff changed Violence edited Sexual/Nudity edited Certain Beer/smoking usage in scenes edited? Copyrighted material edited? Roy Focker named pronounced as Roy Folker to avoid it sounding like an F word. Episode 1 edits/changes/surprise non edits Surprise not being edited scenes? Intro prolog violence uncut!Captain Global/Gloval pipe is uncut! When Hikaru/Rick Hunter crashes, the person near by in one scene is not edited?Edited scense! 1. Murder changed to killer to be less threatening the word and enemy plains # reduced in Robotech version. When Hikaru/Rick Hunter and Roy Focker are talking to each other in the early half of the episode. 2.The scene with the cola machine bot with Lynn Minmay and Yoshio who wants cola is different where Yoshio wants to go pee, but in the Robotech version, he still wants more cola. 3.Lynn Minmay walking away scene with skirt cut out as it could be scene as inappropriate by some. 4.Violent explosion is edited by cropping the scene. 5. crap word changed to Hikaru English name Rick Hunter said by Roy Focker 6. Dame it changed to I can not take control of it said by Hikaru/Rick Hunter. Feedback would be welcome, and more episodes coming soon?
  4. Dear Macross world Community, I have been looking for the 1984 Macross Volume 1: Booby Trap VHS Harmony Gold dub online, but can not find it anywhere. I would like to compare it with the ADV Uncut Dub, the 1985 Robotech broadcasting, and the 2004 Remaster version of the episodes in terms of censorship of dialog/scenes, etc? If anyone can link it to me to watch online, or have a download link, please let me know?

    Sunwards Valkyries

I'm sure older members here remember the Sunwards fiasco. It was basically Yamato's attempt in the early 2000s to circumvent Harmony Gold and try to get their 1/72 VF-1 product out there without using either Macross or Robotech branding. As an interesting comparison, Bandai did just that in the early 1990s with their European version of the 1/55 Super Valkyrie reissue, with no problems. I'm looking for any archived data on Sunwards, who was in charge, if anyone has their website saved, or even an image of the ad they took out in ToyFare, etc. Thei website is long gone and doesn't appear to be saved anywhere, and I cannot find any images, either. Most of the photos they used in their PR material are the stock Yamato photos anyway, but the phrasing they used to promote the toys I recall was very interesting.

  7. From the album: My Macross Collection

Recent case-fresh (!) purchase - Harmony Gold edition of Matchbox Nosjadeul-Ger toy: "Quadrono Batallion" - female Zentraedi, I guess based on the name given to female armor in the Robotech adaptation, since Matchbox didn't make a Q-Rau toy. These aren't so bad, really. They were actually designed & originally tooled-up by a Japanese company. The rendering reminds me a lot of Clover's last few Dunbine toys. The colors of this edition differ a bit from the earlier Matchbox edition, and the later ExoSquad edition.

They don't fit well to the compound curves in many surfaces on the toy. But the joints are nice & tight.
