  1. In that first battroid photo, I think it's just the angle that makes it look missing. The other light is just barely peeking out from behind the head.
  2. That's retail? So most places would likely have their PO price set below 7K, I'd think. I believe the non-super VF-1A and VF-1J from 2 years ago came in well below 7K.
  3. Good point. One set will be enough for me since I will likely only get the 1J and the Focker 1S.
  4. I think you might be right but hope you’re wrong. The question is: if they release a movie version Roy next, do I go ahead and get it, not knowing if they’re going to ever do a TV version?
  5. Ah, I didn’t realize that Roy also had the larger gunpod handle. Good to know.
  6. No clue about the Japanese, but if I had to guess, it’s that they’ve redesigned the optional larger hand to actually hold the gun pod handle instead of molding the handle into the hand. At any rate, that looks like the standard HMR GU-11 handle on top that fits into the integrated hand, and the one below looks like the optional handle only available (so far) with the GBP VF-1J.
  7. Those orange-colored parts would probably look great on the upcoming VF-1D. Any one know if Fext Hobby was planning to make new sets compatible with the 2-seaters?
  8. So based on the photo, does this mean we are not getting red-tipped TV reaction missiles?
  9. Those two are also the last and first valks that we see Hikaru pilot. Kind of poetic.
  10. I’m hopeful that the 1J will turn out great, and that a Roy 1S will not be far behind.
  11. Finally checked in after a couple of days of being busy, and you know, Thanksgiving, and... Wow, they are actually doing the 1D! While I'm really excited, I honestly wouldn't have thought we would get this one for quite some time. The PO date is now added to my calendar. And @sh9000, those destroids all look great on those displays.
  12. Cool custom Roy pilot. I keep meaning to do one of those. Is that F15 supposed to be 1/100?
  13. That’s awesome — and hilarious! Well done, @sh9000. I hadn’t seen that before.
  14. I can see what you mean. This has been a slow year in general for Macross HMR, though, and even in the busier years, we only got like 1 or 2 enemy mecha each year.
  15. I think it’s unlikely we’ll see any VF-4 variants released any time soon. I expect (or hope) that Bandai catches up on other previous “display only” pieces first. Given that we may only see 4-5 HMR Macross releases each year, there’s enough already teased to keep the pipeline full for the next 3 years!
  16. There may be some canon explanation that I’m not aware of, but why is the pilot’s helmet yellow? Roy wouldn’t have still been alive when the VF-4 was deployed. Is this just a “what if” scheme? Still, though, it’s great to see how they might offer some additional variations on the VF-4. The list of teased-but-not-yet-produced HMR continues to grow....
  17. I didn't know that Yamato had actually made a VF-19P. It is cool-looking (if a little obscure) design, and part of a key scene in M7 Dynamite.
  18. Thanks for the link. No discount on MSRP, apparently. (Y necessitaba cambiar el idioma a ingles. )
  19. Cool Starscream. Nice to see they’re continuing that line or ornaments.
  20. So did MyKombini ever have the VF-4 for preorder? I didn’t notice it mentioned in the madness, and I don’t see it on their site.
  21. Wow, thanks! That would be great. I’ll PM you about details.
  22. Yeah, I had thought of that, but with Amazon’s price and Tenso’s fees, I think I could do better from AE or maybe Mykombini at this point.
  23. Just got up and see that it's sold out at NY and HLJ, my usual go-to places. Has Amazon listed this yet?
