  1. Very nice cards. Would you say the cards size is around 2 x 2.5 inches? I ask because I came across this Taiwanese album a couple of weeks ago and I wondered which stamps were supposed to go in the pages as the Macross Ohsato cards I own are bigger. Thanks in advance
  2. Great idea! I have been creating videos with Blender for 4 years. I learned from scratch, so my suggestion for you is to get a book to start with the software as it is complex. After all this time there are Blender features that I do not master yet. If you have any questions, please let me know. Here's a non-Macross video I created this year,
  3. I would like to see an OVA based on "The Two Lost Years" contained in the "Macross Perfect Memory" book.
  4. Yes, currently the SFDM BD sets prices are extremely high, in my opinion. I have the feeling that 2012 was a very good year for interesting printed material. Right now, I am just waiting for the planned Mikimoto's Macross book. Regards
  5. Agreed, jvmcross. Actually, in Latin American countries the Takatoku-based bootleg figures are still very popular. Last year, I went to a bazaar in Mexico City to pick up a Kanzen Henkei-type figure I bought via Whatsapp. Before the seller gave me the figure, there were like 4 or 5 guys trying to get it. Fortunately for me, the deal was already done. Anyway, here are pictures of a custom VF-1A along with a picture of bootleg and knock-off VF-1Ss and a VF-1S Super Valkyrie created with parts of the Convertors toy line. Regards
  6. Thanks, Slave IV. This is Kakizaki's VF-1A. I haven´t been able to complete it (some decals are pending) due to the lockdown.
  7. Hello. I started collecting the Takatoku Kanzen Henkei valkyrie figures around two years ago. I have some original, bootleg and knock off figures as well. I started to create some custom figures which cover the figures never released by Takatoku. This my version of the Cavalier Valkyrie as described in http://www.macross2.net/m3/sdfmacross/variant-vf-1a-cavaliers.htm Regards
  8. Wow. Thanks for sharing those incredible pictures, jvmacross. That book looks pretty massive. I was not aware it ever existed. I remember seeing an interview last year in which Mr. Kawamori showed some Macross Zero storyboards and they looked great. It would very interesting to have this kind of material printed.
  9. Very nice. Thanks for the pictues. I amazed about the quantity of Macross-related products at that time. Regards
  10. Excellent. Thanks a lot for the pictures. Yes, I am planning to buy the DYRL book once the current situation settles down a little bit. As usual, your help is much appreciated. Saludos
  11. Great pictures. Thanks a lot, jvmacross. Loved the dioramas pictures. Is the Monster body mounted on tank tracks a custom made by a modeler? Saludos
  12. I would like to see a reboot or an OVA covering some unseen events in the original series like Hikaru as a test pilot as briefly described in "Macross Outside Story: The Lost Two Years". Unfortunately, that story would be very similar as Macross Plus
  13. Good night. Hope everyone is doing OK. Question. I remember the "Macross This is Animation" books contain storyboards for some SDMF chapters but the pictures were quite small. Is there a book which have these storyboards in a bigger size? Thanks in advance
  14. Thanks, jvmacross, for the "Document of Macross" pictures. All of them look great but issues 1 to 3 seem pretty interesting to me. I hope I will get one of those some day. Saludos
  15. Thanks a lot for sharing. Wow, all of them look great but my favorite ones are the RT Offical Guides. It seems they were inspired by the Macross Perfect Memory book.. I checked your album and all the pictures are very nice. Regards
  16. Hello, everyone. Hope you are doing well. I found another low quality Macross/RT fanzine from the early 2000's. Please have in mind that I am not advocating piracy; just showing what you could find at Latin America (in this case, Mexico) bazaars on those years. This one included a CD with many pictures that could be found on the Internet at that time. Again, the magazine is printed in very low quality paper and all content is B&W. Basically it contains the Macross Compendium material translated into Spanish along with RT chronology. Regards
  17. Thanks. It would be nice to see yours.. I think Chilean and Argentinian fanzines were printed in color and seem to have better quality that the ones I own whcih are Mexican. Regards
  18. Good afternoon. Hope you are doing well. I found this old fanzine I think I bought around 2000-2001 in a bazaar. Yes, it has very poor paper quality. It contains sections covering the Macross sequels along with Kawamori and Mikimoto biographies. Also, at the end it mentions some Macross projects being considered at that time and some pictures of figures. Regards
  19. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Would you like to read my crazy hypothesis about the song? Misa, just after the end of chapter 30 of SDFM "Viva Maria", told Global about the Supervision Army's derelict ship. In my opinion, it was Misa as Exedol seemed not too interested about the ship. It was decided to investigate further the derelict ship so a better prepared expedition for that purpose was assembled and sent. Fortunately, the ship was not a booby trap as originally thought. It contained a lot of useful devices and records; the Protoculture version of the DYRL song among them. Exedol's research report on the Zentradi and Protoculture story on chapter 31 of SDFM "Satan's Dolls "was a result of studying these records. Finally, on chapter 36 Global shared with Misa more results that were obtained from the research; the scientists assigned to the task were confident that the Protoculture home planet lied "somewhere" near the center of the Milky Way. So, Megaroad 01 route was planned well in advance before its launch. Regarding the song, there was no better singer as Minmay to sing it so, she was called after chapter 36 to record it and the rest is history. Regards
  20. Hello. I have been a member of the site for a while but this it my first question in this thread. Hope you are doing well. So, my question is about the origin of the song “Do You Remember Love?” in the Macross universe. This song is never played or mentioned in the SDFM TV series. It’s introduced in the DYRL film, which is a fictional film within the Macross universe, and it’s also played in the 2012 Flashback OVA which is, as far as I know, Minmay last concert. Since then, all the Macross sequels, Macross 7, Frontier and Delta, give it a lot of importance to the song. So, it didn’t exist during the SDFM timeframe as, due the song preeminence, it couldn’t be ignored by the series. It’s debut was not in 2031, when the film was premiered, as Minmay disappeared onboard the Megaroad on 2016. So, I think it was recorded by Minmay between the end of SDFM and Flashback 2012, right? Is there any hint elsewhere on how the song was discovered or developed besides the story told in Macross: DYRL? Sorry if my question is too confusing
  21. Hello. Correct. There's currently one listed at eBay at a very high price. I wonder why... What I like about the KOs is their color combinations and that they can be customized with minimal remorse. I am not too far down into the Takatoku hole. I just collect the Henkei Valkyries. I do not like the 1/55 Valkyries as I prefer smaller scales. Currently, from Takatoku, I have the 3 pack, Hikaru's VF-1J and the VF-1A. I hope someday I can get Myria's and Max's VF-1Js Regards
  22. That would be very bad news, right? Hmm, interesting. I have the feeling that Cycomi slowly withdraw its support from the manga. When rebooted, the web page allowed comments from readers from all around the world, then it was restricted, if I remember correctly, to Japanese users. Then, the app was only available to mobile devices in Japan... then stopped it for 6 months... and then this... looks like a slow death, step by step... Hope I am wrong That would be very sad. I think a lot of readers were disappointed waiting for a year for an update and having the manga stopped at the same point as before; no progress in the story. Regards
  23. Hello. The manga was delisted from the Cycomi web site; does not appear at the page anymore. A bad signal in my opinion. Regards
  24. Good night. Regarding the Takatoku Henkei knock offs I have seen a lot of Taiwanese ones, the "Macres" valkyries, but it seems Korea also manufactured them. Has anyone seen this one before? Regards
