I've seen a lot of weird, certainly non-military paint jobs on Valkyries before. Something like this might work for some sort of celebration paint job or even camouflage with the right colors.

It would look better just doing a hydrodip finish. The paint swirl technique comes out with noticable edges and on something as small as a model if would look too obvious.
