treatment Posted September 29 Posted September 29 another comparo... https://twitter.com/006zgundam/status/1972453816198115417 Seems a wee bit bigger than the older Actic Gear/Actic Gear Next ATs, indeed. Quote
grogall Posted October 3 Posted October 3 Looks like the 1/1 Scopedog standing at Inaginaganuma Station has gotten a new paint scheme for the 5th. anniversary.... where is the pre-order for one? 🤗 Quote
grogall Posted October 5 Posted October 5 (edited) The official Takara Atic Gear ATM-09-ST (Melquiya Version) is posted on thier web site! The new line looks quite impressive for their size! especially the detailing on the backpack and the weapons! Not a line I will collect since I'm really happy with the Hi-Metal R line from Bandai! But it's good that there is competition out there, which means even Bandai can't, just release a cheaply done version! 👍🏻 Edited October 5 by grogall Quote
VF-Zero Posted October 7 Posted October 7 Ordered my first HI-Metal R Figure. I have always wanted a Red Shoulder Scopedog and finally pulled the trigger. I also ordered a Chirio Cuvie 1/6 Statue. Both of them are on the way. Quote

Only down side is that they are also very addictive so plan to get another...😉 I'd recommend the Bloodsucker you should be able to get one from Mandarake at a good price! Quote

I was actually eyeing that Bloodsucker. lol Quote
jenius Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Maybe they'll use quality plastic this time? Honestly, I'm let down already. With all the work Bandai put into the HMR joints? This thing is twice the size and the joints look old school still. Quote

Given that they labeled it as 1.5, I'm half wondering if its been updated at all since the first release. I miss the 1/18 takara ones. Quote
grogall Posted October 19 Posted October 19 Wave is releasing a new version of the X-ATH-P-RSC Blood Sucker in 1/35 with a regular Gilgamesh pilot figure... Not sure why they didn't do a 1/24 version for their new line!? Pre order on Amazon release in January 2026 Quote

Not sure why they didn't do a 1/24 version for their new line!? Pre order on Amazon release in January 2026 This is actually a rerelease from 2018 if I remember correctly. I was super excited when the ps version was originally announced since I was disappointed that the first version didn’t have the pilot or downform capabilities . and there actually was a 1/24 kit recently, although it’s a plamax kit and probably why wave didn’t do it.as a slight edit, the wave 1/35 that is currently up for preorder is the same as the original release, but not including the bonus figure, other than that it is just a re release Edited October 19 by Big s Quote

I actually hope that Bandai will do a figure set in the Hi-Metal R line with Vanillea, Gotho, Coconner, and Chirico & Fyana in different outfits... or add them in different AT's I find that the figures that are included in the Hi-Metal R line are quite well done! Too bad that it was only available for the initial release and those that didn’t get the kit before the pandemic have to hunt it down. The rerelease doesn’t include him Quote
grogall Posted October 23 Posted October 23 More MechatroWeGo type AT's from Hasegawa, Definitely not my cup of tee! 🙈 Quote
grogall Posted Thursday at 05:02 PM Posted Thursday at 05:02 PM (edited) ThreeZero has released more information to their new 1/12 Scopedog 1.5 Saying that they have updated the joints! Honestly at the price they were asking this should have been done in the first place! And a lot of people probably aren't going to test if this thing will last like it should have, since they where already put off with the customer service on the 1.0 version! Anyone want to take it for a a new test drive at this price? Compared to the original 1/12 Scope Dog released in 2017, this Ver. 1.5 model features new paint finishes and upgraded joint structure. The shoulder ball joint and ankle joint have been upgraded to die-cast metal parts, and the shoulder joint socket has been redesigned for increased durability. Anyway good luck if you wan't to try it again! 😱 I for myself will gladly stick with the Hi-Metal R version where I haven't had a single issue on any of the ones that I unpacked! 🤗 P.S: Find it also kind of cheap that you can't mount any side armour-ments to this unit since the panels for that aren't removables! and a mounting hole is also not present, Bandai have added the removable panels to all of their units like the ATM-09-ST (SA) although it doesn't come with them, you can still remove the panels to mount them! Besides that the weathering is very impressive maybe someday Bandai will try this as well on a limited version! Edited Thursday at 06:20 PM by grogall Quote

I also really don’t have that kind of space Quote
jenius Posted Thursday at 08:42 PM Posted Thursday at 08:42 PM Yeah, good to know the parts that broke all the time are improved, I also had my waist tabs break and there's no mention of making those heartier. The joints look like they all work the same though which means this won't compare well to the HMR. Quote

I also really don’t have that kind of space Its an impressive unit, but for 68,820円 it would have been more prudent to release a complete Red Shoulder Custom for that price to make up for past deeds! And if I remember correctly the joints weren't the only issue on the 1.0 version... I think @jenius said that one of his feet broke as well!? Quote
jenius Posted Friday at 03:29 AM Posted Friday at 03:29 AM Any reputable US stores that have a history of not charging out of state tax? Gotta save every $ I can at this price range. Big toy was NOT built well. Quote
grogall Posted Friday at 06:04 AM Posted Friday at 06:04 AM (edited) Clearly for the price of roughly $400+ these are issues which should have been tested way before release! After all its a figure which should be able to manipulated into different posses! When I got one of my Bandai Turbo Customs a toke it through all of the paces and tried tons of different posses to see how I wanted the units displayed, in my display cases, and every joint did what it was supposed too. and this for a figure costing a third of the price! Not saying that Bandai is perfect but they sure make their stuff fun to play with without regretting it later! Edited Friday at 07:05 AM by grogall Quote
grogall Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Still Find it kind of strange that the Hi-Metal R FATTY is the only V.O.T.O.M. marked with a US release, Someone should check the NY Tamashii store next month, to see if it's available there!? Don't want to know at what price though.....😱 Quote
