izzyfcuk Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 (edited) Hi all, i'll just like to eheck, did hasegawa ever did produced the engima decals in 1/72? im looking for it, many thanks Edited June 13, 2009 by izzyfcuk Quote
Valk009 Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 Correct me if I am wrong but I think the Enigma decals came with those specila clear version VF-1 kits. Hasegawa released two different packaged clear kits, the first were those using the standard box with a special gold sticker indicating it as a clear version kit and the other being an event release item. Those were boxed in a white box. I think the decals you are talking about came with the standard box. Quote

I have a clear blue VF-1J, it comes in a standard hikaru 1J box with a couple gold stickers that say colored clear version. You get the standard decals plus a sheet of option decals and a flier showing the 7 different schemes you can make with what I think is a brief description of each aircraft (not sure since I cant read Japanese). izzyfcuk Posted June 13, 2009 Author Posted June 13, 2009 (edited) Thanks for the prompt reply. appreciate it Looks like i have to hunt the kit This bring me to another question 1. Apart from the Enigma, did hasegawa did anything else? (Excluding the option decals sold separately) Edited June 13, 2009 by izzyfcuk Quote
Zinjo Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Thanks for the prompt reply. appreciate it Looks like i have to hunt the kit This bring me to another question 1. Apart from the Enigma, did hasegawa did anything else? (Excluding the option decals sold separately) Hasegawa in association with various model magazines published several custom decal sets for the Macross kit lines. Two Minmay Guard sets, one that came with a battroid kit with a tour called "Ashes to Ashes" and another decal set with the "One Night In Paris" tour version: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10033638a/20/1 http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...=30402&st=0 A set for the YF-21: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10014122 A custom set for the YF-19: https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10026828a/20/1 https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10026828b/30/1 http://www.flickr.com/photos/toy-in/3631221803/sizes/o/ The VFE-X set for the VF-1: http://www.flickr.com/photos/toy-in/3632041522/sizes/o/ The VF-1 Blue Roses set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/toy-in/3631221093/sizes/o/ Just a few of the ones that have been available over the years. Most are out of print now. I'm sure other members have examples of more... Quote
MechTech Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 Thanks Zinjo. I also learned something new. I was given some of the clear kits by someone and didn't realize it was THAT special. - MT Quote
