syn13 Posted July 10, 2008 Author Posted July 10, 2008 I gotta get one of those one of these days, I didn't really like at first but it really grew on me as an awesome looking fighter(something different the the F14 look-alikes). I'm guessing they're as much as the YF-19 simply because of the number of parts in them right?

However the color scheme has grown on me though this is my first 1/48 so i may just be in awe of of the 1/48 sculpt itself.

As for the Japanese schoolgirl resemblance, I never noticed it until it was pointed out and now that's all I can see. I think they should have packed the Angelbirds with a schoolbag and an extra hand giving the two-fingered 'peace' sign. That said, I LOVE my angelbirds. Quality-wise it's the most perfect of the 1/48s that I've laid my hands on. Although that damn nose cone still likes to come off too easily.
