Kin
I saw one back in 1993 in a store in Holland... exclusive. It was dang too expensive... and 1 game is almost a half of a monthsalari... anyway the store went broke. I love Art of Fighting.. with those anime sound and vis effects It was probably one of those fewer games featuring zoom effects. Cool level was the one with the "Guile" immitation Let's rock! He also got this cool finishing move: down, downleft, left, punch. 6 lower kicks and one backswingpunch, enjoying in slomotion And not to forget the funny beaten up faces at low HP. The feel in neogeo fighting game isn't as good as capcom... mainly because of the soft hardpunch/kick sounds and the character feels lighter. TheLoneWolf
Yeehaw! New titles announced for the Atomiswave: Metal Slug 6, Samurai Spirits AW, The King Of Fighters NeoWave, and (gasp!) King of Fighters 2004! http://gameonline.jp/news/2004/02/20007.html As much as I love the old MVS hardware, it's time to move on.
yellowlightman
Coolest thing about the Atomiswave hardware is that it's based on the Dreamcast. Makes me wonder if we might see some ports to the DC, simply because the DC is still getting a trickle of niche games, and SNK games certainly fit the bill. Any idea what the difference is between KOF NeoWave and KOF 2004?
TheLoneWolf
DC ports would rock!! One can only hope. If I'm not mistaken, KOF NeoWave is the 3D KOf, whereas KOF 2004 will be the 'normal' KOF.
Hoptimus
Xbox Live ports please! Now that I am getting Metal Slug 3 and SVC on xbox with LIVE support that is awesome. KOF on LIVE would be great!
TheLoneWolf
2 years ago, I absolutely loathed the X-Box. But now, I'm really starting to warm up to it, all because they're willing to work with SNKP. Boo Sony, why do you guys have to be 2D haters! Hey MMX, when KOF 2k4 is released on Live!, I'll keep an eye out for ya!
StealthLurker
As great as it is to see the great snk franchises on improved hardware... It's sad to see an era pass. http://www.neo-geo.com/forums/showthread.p...&threadid=82452 Just when I got back into AES/MVS too. However, I can't wait to slap an SS6 cart into my atomiswave board.
