Black Valkyrie
My suggestion is never buy anything made by toynami ever again. Don`t say that , I`ve ordered one a few days ago, just to see if it`s good or not. Edited September 20, 2007 by Black Valkyrie
vermillion01
Nah dont believe the hype.. the 1/100 Toynami range is pretty good actually (they make the banpresto's look like the shoddy plastic junk they are), so long as you dont expect the durability of a bandai 1/55. I have 4 of them and i'm happy with all! No problems as yet, anway i think there is a full review in another thread in the toy section. jenius
YES, shameless plug time!!! Read full reviews of the Toynami 1/100 series by CLICKING HERE FOR SERIES 1 or CLICKING HERE FOR SERIES 2. Then, go to the front page, book mark the site, and visit it weekly to see what new reviews get added. Thanks!
vermillion01
Funnily enough jenius i was reading through your Toynami MPC and 1/100 reviews earlier today. Excellent non-bias reviews. I know its not a popular idea around these parts but i happen to like the Toynami's MPC series (if anyone wants rid of them, i'll take any off your hands... buyer plug.) and for the money, the 1/100's are great too.. now if only they came with S/S fast packs. jenius
Yeah, it's a Strike HIK VF-1S (weathered), a Strike Roy VF-1S (I believe also weathered), and a Super Cannon Fodder. No release date.
Black Valkyrie
Nice, its good I didn`t get the VF-1S ver.1. I wonder if they plan for VF-1A (Max) and VF-1D.

vermillion01
I think he means the TV Version Max 1A. Oops.. should have thought of that I'm actually really looking forward to the next set.. great little toys.
jenius
I'd be looking forward to the next set much more if it was a Max VF-1S instead of either Hikaru or Roy... despite the weathering I'm going to feel like I bought the same toy twice (not that repaints matter much anyway). Rail Tracer
Tell me about it. I had one of those Banprestos and it was fun.......till I took it out of the box and the damn thing broke in two when I transformed it. I just orderd Hikaru Ichijo's VF-1J 1/100 Toynami one, and it looks great and I read almost all the reviews so I'm pretty sure I'll like it. Although it would be nice to have a VF-0 version.
