New member email

I received an email from someone trying to sign up here as a new member but they said they've tried a few times and have never received a confirmation email so they still aren't able to participate. I would naturally assume that this would be the result of the email being flagged as spam or something along those lines. Any suggestions on how this could be resolved? I believe I know the person's proposed handle and email address if that would help.
