Loved the series way back in the 80s...loved the toys, just wasn't available in my country, or folks coudn't afford it...anycase got the VF-os. Great valk great detail, but transforming this valk, literally took me 30 min the first time...and I thought the toy would be robust and strong, its quit fragile....in my opinion: I bought toynamis 1 to 100 scale hikaru, transformation 2 min tops... stronger than vf-os if dropped...not bad detail at all either...my point is Im quit disapointed with the ease, sorry the lack of transformation of such a big toy, the vf-os is great to leave in a position for 6 months and then chnage for the next 6 months.. I don't know if I'm the only one that feels this way... Question: 1 -how easy is it to transform the vf-1s at 1/48 scale from yamato? 2 -Has The vf-0a improved upon the vf-0s? I recommend having a paperclip handy. 2. Yes it is. Tighter joints all around, plus locks for the feet. The links work(in Quicktime. WMP only had audio). I checked the first one just to make sure. (of course having said that the rest of them are probably not going to work.) jenius Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 There's a learning curve with these toys. First few times takes a lot of patience and you'll learn tricks to help you out along the way. By the 5th time you'll have it down to a point where you never have to stop and be frustrated. Then, after a million or so transformations, it'll be a piece of cake!
