SDF-1, TV and DYRL

Looks like a 1/4000 DYRL SDF from Yellow Submarine alongside a 1/5000 TV version from IMAI. The YS is a resin kit released some years ago and the IMAI is an old but very good plastic kit from the 80s. Both are really well built and painted! Great to see those together, first time I see an IMAI actually built up and not locked in a vault!

I wanted to get the Yellow Sub model kits both the cruiser and stormattacker modes but didn't have the money for it because it was in the hundreds bu they look great, Rusty your pic looks great similar to my past works.

Oh man, i'd snap up a Yamato SDF-1 in a second. Come on guys, you've gotta make one!

Looking at the SDF-1 models there, it would have been a lot cooler if they could've retconned the TV model as "SDF-1" and the DYRL model as "SDF-3" or such.....

:o

oops, wrong series! hahahaha

Wow...looking at them side-by-side, I never realized just how beefy the DYRL Macross was compared to the TV Macross...

Yeah... The DYRL one is really impressive. Still I like the SDF-1 TV with it carrier as the arms. ;)
