I would rather get it from HobbyFan, a known entity, than from some obscure seller in HK. I didn't get the best recast with the booster project and now I'm not willing to try that again.

The Monkey booster project is an original cast. It is not a recast. There is a difference. Did you talk to them about not being satisfied and maybe getting a replacement part?

funny you should say that... i got a pretty horrible recast from Rob on the VF-2SS downgrade parts project. But I heard that he used a different caster for the Booster project. Is that right, Rob?

Have you thought of contacting Rob or myself about your castings?

It was my understanding that some of them were a bit rough, and did not meet the expectations of some modelers. If this is the case with your model, please contact either of us and we'll see what we can do to rectify the situation.

the kit offered by hobbyfan is a recast of the original Yellow Submarine model.... no need to recast it a third time.

This kit is an excellent build, I reccomend it to anyone else who wants to get one though!
