    I think you are missing the spirit of the people who are active in the boards. that's my contention. if you don't want to discuss it... well then, I think you are being a little close minded. Maybe that's why people are choosing to discuss these things on Rob's board now.

    baxo... they locked your thread again in Models. The mods gotta learn to let this slide. the folks in the model section do want this. i think it is another function of the Mods taking their job too seriously.

    Painting is done. Added a coat of future and started to do some drybrushing and weathering. Somebody remind me next time that I gotta put on the decals before I apply pastels. I started to on the feet before I remembered. Anasazi did a great job supplying the decals. Now I just gotta figure out where they go!

    I wouldn't recommend adding detail just for the sake of detail... especially if it is not in the lineart. Leave that up to the person who buys the model.

    We had a guy on this board do a tremendous job at a SV-51 Gerwalk. Anyone remember that? It was incredibly impressive. He did a great step-by-step... link anyone?

    Just looked and I saw that Starshipmodeler.com is now carrying Mori Mori in their store! Mori Mori at SSM store I love this stuff and find it very useful in my model building. Valkyrie turned me on to this stuff... damn you, Ken.

    Nope... it's not solid resin. The arms and main fuselage are rotocast (e.g., hollow). It is pretty heavy. The model is absolutely huge... I can't even believe we're gonna get one even bigger!

    I'm definitely keeping it animated. I love the Clone Wars animated series by Genndy Tartakovsky and I fell in love with the Gentle Giant Maquettes. I plan on doing Mace Windu next.
