hah, this is neat to see after today.. I just got home from a nearly 10 hour game of battletech with 7 people.. my poor rifleman took 70 points of damage from 3 mechs in one round.. 50 of which to my center torso.. he s'ploded..

Rise of the Triad rocked! lol first FPS were you could only hold one primary and one secondary weapon at a time... crazy blood and guts when people would explode.. there was always an eye flying through the air..

easy solution to large-player FPS games onlilne: get on voice comms software with your buddies, and play in the same server... it's just like a LAN. I've been playing with TNT, my TFC clan, since 1999.. we're practically family, though most of us have never met. We know each other so well, however, through our use of voice comm programs like Ventrilo/RW/TeamSpeak. This allows us to laugh and joke just as if we were in the same room together..

I'm pretty much ignoring Kim at this point <_

well, in regular (non-florescent) lightin, the metallic sheen works quite nicely. I actually like it. It is dark in the right places, and reflective where it should be, and it looks good! Gives good shading.

it looks like they're clearancing these super poseables with the metallic green.. just got one today for $2.99.. and the others were marked down to $6.99 just FYI if you've been holding out on getting one of these but didn't want to spend over $12 when you weren't sure if you'd like them

don't get me wrong, I'm the type of Trek fan who takes each series and each episode for what it is.. an entertaining hour of sci-fi TV.. the only reason I brought this up is because of other threads that have popped up on this board about Trek that all turned in to a B&B bashing war..
