i dont think he knew about the XB-70 by the time he was starting macross.  That project might been still classified during that time.

it was Declassified before Shoji K started doing Macross, XB-70 was done in the mid-seventies (that's what the MiG-25 was built to counter) and even during an interview he said that's where the idea for the Name came from (AFAIK)

hmm bit odd then. my grandfather was a machinist for boeing in the 60s in the sst projects and he worked on the XB-70.

Big difference between folding up for high-speed, and MORPHING.

XB-70's folded their wings for high-speed flight back in the 60's. (Which I'd bet good money is the inspriation for the YF-21 doing it, since the XB-70 is where Kawamori got the name Valkyrie)

anyways you can keep this debate as long as you want. but in the end i agree with 91WhiskeyM6 that the -19 replaces -11s and -22/21 replaces -17s.

the best shotgun for home defense i think is a mossberg.the 500 is an all black pistol grip style that's easy to manuever in tight spaces.it will hold 8 rounds w/ the choke removed.you can get 1 for about $250.the 590 is a little longer w/ a 9 round capacity & the choice between a stock or a pistol grip.but,it's nickle plated so it'll run you about $500.the best round for home defense is a #4 shot(commonly used for turkey hunting) it gets the job done & doesn't produce such a heavy kick-back(easy for girls to shoot if neces.) good thing about were i live(delaware) is that you CAN shoot anybody that enters your house as an intruder. the only rule is that they have to be completely across the threshhold of the door.a cop told me that if you shoot them & they fall outside,drag them into your house(i thought that was funny to here coming from a cop ).if you live in a state that requires there to be imminent danger from an intruder in order to shoot them,all you have to do is tell the cop you saw them reaching inside there jacket like they were reaching for a weapon.most cops will believe law-abiding joe-home owner over some criminal anyway

sadly none. closest thing to owning one was my 1/100 one back in earily 80's. but i used to know someone in guam back then that own tons of the 55s.

its hard to tell realy. in macross plus teh -19 was kicking butt due to the im the hero nothing can kill me complex. but in end of mac 7 the -19s began to be destroyed quiet easily, including basara -19 (still trying to figure out what got him to ripped through his cockpit like that.) and the -22 didnt get killed at all (also from the i was a hero but ppl wont watch macross if they got killed complex).

300 Wetherby mag. Hurts to shoot both your shoulder and your wallet. cost me 7 bucks to reload each shell.

10/22 ruger. old faithfull i call it that cuz it survive a f-350 running into us when we got in a car accident. only suffered a cracked stocked.

44 mag. i like it. oddly i call it ring cuz if you dont wear ear protection thats what your going to hear for the next couple of hours. i reload then 1 grain over factory recommended.

Im not realy a gun person but a reloader. I have tons of reloading equip and dies for all my guns.

super spatial-temporal fortress is a name i like. it seems so roomy with lots of expansion. longs HG doesnt make us smuggle macross products to the states by speedboat or ultralight plane im happy.

look harder dude. its clearly an airbreak. you can see the little 2 lines that go horizonal and its in the right spot for it for a single seater.

only thing that bugs me is the airbrake. i thought 2 seaters dont have them.

my first valk was a 1/100 tak vf-1s. it somehow got lostwhen we moved, but sadly i cant seem to find another on ebay to buy. *kicks bandai or who has the molds for the 1/100 to make reissues of them*
