noticed when brera saved Ranka from that Hydra attack (why'd they call it a hydra? -.-), Ranka remembers her past, and she was talking to herself about her brother (dying) in that vajra attack? there's a very good chance someone's found their relative. and a good chance brera was rescued had to become a cyborg to survive. BTW, the 'director' role's VA is 坂口 候一, too bad i'd thought SK would like to have a 'cameo' here.

Maybe they will explain in greater detail as to why ASS-1 chose Earth, the odds are really too huge. There's a good chance that someone from that Supervision Army side is perhaps related to the Aphos n who remembers about Earth and was responsible for the whole incident. As for Protodeviln, technically speaking, there are billions of galaxies in our universe, and Protodeviln are NOT from any of them because they come from an alternate universe. but its true, they're the only ones not from our galaxy, so far. copyright infringement?

In the Alto mock-training ep, Ozma said he's betting on "his guys", means that the Q-Rea team are not "his guys". Ozma's rank is Major and Klan Klan is Captain (i'm using army ranks), so he is perhaps the highest ranking pilot in SMS, and he oversees the whole operation, while KK is team leader for her Q-Rea team. wonder why KK's childhood friend is only Junior Lieutenant 2 ranks below KK. which reminds me, since it was mentioned that "everyone have their reasons for joining", could it be that KK joined SMS because of her loli-miclone problem? she seems very sensitive to that.

yeah, the 3 eyes thing was noticed back in page 2? its possible that thing is a vajra, but the red and small vajra don't have 3 eyes right? maybe this is the young form before it metamorphoses into the big guys, or it could be a completely new (more deadly?) vajra. but the small thing dont seem hostile towards ranka... just some thoughts: Macross F brought in ideas such as capitalism, lust for technological advances, Protoculture civil wars, and mankind being a "re-make"/heir of Protoculture who "were trying to correct their mistakes"... ironically, it may turn out that history is repeating itself! What we're seeing in this MFrontier story (a civil war?) might be suggesting that the Protoculture fought between themselves for similar reasons, with one faction being very staunch on technology advances that ends up creating the Protodevilns and the other faction perhaps were the ones who had to clean up the shi+ with "culture" (anima spirita/ music?).

Kaifun is definitely not Minmay's brother, but they're close cousins. Kaifun's father is the elder brother of Minmay's father, so they are quite closely related, and i don't know how u guys see it, but there is blood relation between them - albeit not brother-sister but being close cousins, at least that's how it is where i'm brought up. Marriage between close cousins are not encouraged (not allowed), esp those with the same surname (paternal side), that's why i was very puzzled why there were rumors of the Kaifun and Minmay relationship. Anyway, Kaifun might have something for Minmay but i don't think Minmay feels the same. Also... Minmay's father is half-chinese/japanese, his mother being a japanese. that means Minmay is 1/4 chinese... and Ranka is 1/4 zent... another homage? EDIT: oh ok... so it came right from Perfect memory/books. they're cousins "but no blood relation" - is this how it's viewed in Japanese culture? very surprised. the only other explanation is that somewhere between them, someone is adopted.

Michel was putting up a strong front, including being a flirt and a bully, to hide his troubled mind. On the other hand, i'm getting sick of Alto's temper - he flares up so easily, and always picking a fight with Michel (and usually end up losing ) and in fact everyone else, so much anger in him... he'll make a very strong sith but i guess it must be due to his past and relationship with his father, but still, i'd like to see him cut down on his anger.

Problem is many people here don't like M7, so just let them go on with their imagination that M7 is considered crappy by everybody.

the symbols on that red vajra suggests protoculture involvement, and the protoculture 'empire' at its peak rules over only this galaxy. so unless those markings are not PC, it is unlikely the vajra are from another galaxy since they are probably products of PC. although it is possible those surviving PC moved to a nearby galaxy and these vajra are their scouts to check out whats happening back here (protodeviln scared e shi+ out of the PCs huh... ). explains the remotely controlled part too. but i think macross is not ready to step out of the galaxy yet, still lots of room for future stories.

notice that the vf-27 took off from Island 3. is the vf-27 so advanced that it totally does not show up on sensors, or is the Military keeping it secret? Even if it doesn't show on radar, it should be fairly noticable visually - unless everybody is sleeping on their job - what are those escort ships doing...? So it does seem like the military (Leon?) is not only aware of the vf-27 but they are actually the guys behind it. are they in this together with backers of M-Galaxy? Other stuff related to island 3: - the captured vajra was kept here. - the red lobster and small vajra were hiding here in ep 2. (coincidence?) so there's a good chance that the vf-27 is launching from M-Frontier NUNS facility in Island 3 However, it doesn't seem like the vajra are on the side of Brera's faction, since there's fighting between them too. Brera's faction knows the exact location of the Vajra Hive, maybe even sacrificed that ship for the vajra, which might suggest that Dulfim and maybe even M-Galaxy were to be sacrificed for Vajra hives too? It seems likely that Brera's faction is conducting experiments/observations on the vajra. which explains why Brera shot the gunpod off Luca's valk in ep 7 to prevent them from doing more damage to the vajra ship. PS > Brera/Kira Yamato's skills sucks as usual. he just depends on the equipment. kinda let down by brera's crappy skills this ep. doesn't seem too difficult to defeat him

Grace got the Frontier network (backbone?) password back in the episode where Sheryl and Alto were trapped in the emergency hatch. apparently, it was Cathy who gave her the password so grace could access the network, but dear Cathy forgot to change the password afterwards. muddleheaded just as described.

hmmm.. nobody mentioned the movie Event Horizon? in that story a 'space fold' is achieved by an 'artificial' blackhole which pulls two points of physical space together, so that the ship can just step thru the 'wormhole' and arrive almost instantaneously on the other side. of cos it didnt really end up like what the theory says nice horror show
