And now that I see that the writers enjoy loading things to be read with double,triple or possibly more meanings, I am going to have to rewatch Macross Frontier when all is said and done and put on a different hat when looking at Alto... as in... "he knew all along what he was doing."

It's kind of funny. It's actually a deep philosophical question that he seems to ponder, but I wondered about that too. Do you have to have reasons for certain things? What about just having general principles and following them?

I was wondering, how does your patch work? I've just downloaded it and I have a question before I run it. I started this project where I'm trying to reauthor the R2 DVDs to have native English subs. For me, it is a process of sub creation with MaestroSBT, demuxing, muxing, VOB Blanker, etc. This involves a lot of HDD space...

I guess this is what you're doing at home, and this patch just directly alters the ISO? If that's the case, that's awesome...I'm wondering if there is something you can direct me to to learn about this method....

that's the way, I'm reauthoring the DVD's

The patch file creates a new iso with the modifications, the patch software works making a binary comparison between the original and the reauthored DVD (that's why I put the torrent url in the readme) so make a new iso file could it be a safe measure in case of errors.

More than any other Macross show, Frontier has shown a desire to really f*** with our expectations. I don't know if Alto will end up with Ranka or not (I doubt it), but they're pretty clearly setting up Sheryl and Alto as a couple, just as they're blatantly announcing that Sheryl wll die from the V-Virus.

Which is why I'm pretty confident that neither will happen.

All the evidence points to that, but now I'm thinking what if SK & Co. are doing the inverse. I mean, if they are managed to screw up almost all speculations it would be freacking funny if they do the obvious

IMHO that's not a flashback, is just a way to tell that the path choosen by ranka is leave Alto and find some answers about herself

Conversely, maybe they just don't want to end up like the Star Wars Kid...could you imagine showing up to school, and for MONTHS, hearing nothing from your classmates but "Kira!"

The end conversation between Ozma and Alto worked for me, although Alto's scream seems still unexplained to me. Was it the frustration of not being able to follow? Or was it the frustration that he realized Ozma was right? Or maybe everything :3

To me is frustration. The path chosen for Alto now is stay with Sheryl till the end, uncapable to do anything, while the others still have a chance.

Macross Frontier Season 2????

When I saw the raw I have the feeling that the episode is going to compensate the owned that Ranka gets on 19 but in the end Ranka realizes that her songs never reaches Alto, so she decides to leave (run away) because she believes she's already lost the love triangle. I can assume that all of us here are expecting that she returns to save the Frontier's dommsday with a huge vajra army to kick Grace & Co. asses. Untill now, while I still preffer an AltoxSheryl end, I have the feeling that the triangle will ends unclaeared

Now the Grace & Co.is the next point, Brera helps Ranka on his own will or he act under Grace orders? Probably is the first because he really cares about her but we are aware of the Grace's "forced mode" This fit very well on her plans, They leave and she engages the force mode so Brera kidnaps Ranka and take her to Macross Galaxy, but if it is the opposite still works for their plans. So Grace lefts Leon with a seemingly nonworking Queen Sheryl meanwhile they have the little queen seized in Galaxy ready to start the final battle.

To finish (If I continue speculating thinking as everything it fits in only 4 eps xD), I can't blame the Alto-Hime for his attitude against Ai-kun, but I ask myself what face will put Luca when he learns that he was helping a Traitor xD

KMPlayer works fine on the video, but now my problem are the subs. Looks like the software took all the CPU to render Audio & video but the subs ends out timing and a little out screen
