    Dawn Treader was actually my favorite book out of the entire series. I'm looking forward to seeing it, but Prince Caspian left me disappointed, so I am going into Dawn Treader with a cynic's eye.

    Including the shipping, its still around US$170.00 Kinda expensive for my tastes, but much cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.

    Theaters get a bad rap for the ticket prices they have to charge. Almost all of the ticket sales go towards the rental of the actual film. The theater itself makes the real revenue from concession sales. Add that to the fact that the 3D movies require a digital projector, which cost about $80,000 EACH, compared to the old school reel projectors at $15,000, and were already installed in the theater. My theater has 12 traditional reel projectors that were imported from Germany just sitting upstairs in storage because there is no use for them. But here is the kicker - the 3D movies are played on the same digital projector as the normal 2D movies are. There is no special hardware involved to make it 3D. However, the people who go see a 2D movie on a new projector are not hit with a surcharge. How is that even fair?

    Just my ignorance showing then, all I know is that I have to specify .22 long rifle for my Walther G22. Also, to reinforce your misfire statement, Remington rounds jam consistently in my gun, where as Federal round work perfectly.

    I was actually referring to the the .22 caliber long rifle round, which is what my gun takes. Didn't think about the rimfire rounds, which do jam with different gun manufactures. The .22 has enough velocity to enter the skull, but not enough to exit, causing the bullet to bounce off the back of the skull. This obviously has no effect if you don't get a headshot however. If I'm correct, you can get a .22 longrifle pistol pretty easily. World War Z references the pistols they used as "Meg". Short for Megatron, because the weapon had an extended suppressor, folding stock, and telescopic sight, (and hopefully a chrome finish), resembling the 1985 Hasbro toy.

    Honestly, I think the best sidearm against zombies would be a .22 caliber pistol. Compact, relativity quiet, and ammo is crazy easy to come across. After all, you don't need stopping power, since body shots will not stop a zombie, but a head shot with a small weapon will take them down with no problem. Also, the .22 round tends to bounce around inside the body, doing damage inside the brain cavity. You can have a .45 and blow a zombie's arm off, and not phase it one bit. In World War Z, they talk about the "balloon Effect" that explosives have on living organs. The pressure wave makes the fluid in your body burst. Zombies may have less fluid, or the fluid they do have is more like a gel. Grenades that would kill a room full of people only drop a zombie if a fragment damages the brain. In short, you want small and light weapons that ammo is easily replenished. Large caliber isn't needed, accuracy is what counts.

    I don't think the gore was over the top, just pretty much what would happen when the zombies attack. The guts and brains are kept to a minimum, as are the severed limbs. I personally like the show because it is a human drama in a zombie apocalypse setting. If anyone has read the comic series, they can attest to that.

    I picked one up from Target a during the summer, and I loved his articulation and his style. From the gerwalk mode, to the reverse articulated legs, to the axes for weapons, the little guy has style.

    My buddy just finished it on PS3, and the last boss fight was pretty epic, he killed it by running up its arm and punching it in the weak point for massive damage. Think I'll pick it up from Steam in a few days.

    My buddy got Front Mission Evolved on PS3. I tried it, but I am absolutely awful at shooters without a mouse + keyboard. I'm so bad, I bought Resistance 2 and returned it a week later because I could never get the aiming down. So I'm going to see how he likes it, then buy it through Steam. BTW, I am so glad I bought Mass Effect 2 on Steam instead of a console, I would have walked away from one hell of a game by simply being no good at aiming with a controller.

    There is an entire section for your Wanzer's loadout, and you earn skill points as you progress. Square Enix can make some very impressive non-RPG games. Einhander Bushido Blade Tobal #1

    Rear visibility? Isn't that what sensors are for? Rear visibility was never an issue in the games, there were cameras for all of the views. Think of it as being able to look up into a rear view mirror so to speak, except its a wide angle camera / sensor.

    Episode 3 should be pretty watchable in 3D. The opening space battle at least.

    I met a guy on a job once who raved about EVE, he was in the Goon Squad or something like that. He went on for days about all the freedom in EVE, and honestly, his stories were very easy to get engrossed in. It was all very fascinating. Until I asked about how a new player with no in-game connections would fair. "Oh, we grief newbies until they log out". Yeah, there went my enthusiasm, right out the window.
