  1. Why I'm gonna get one any poke fun at him. "Cybertron shall remain as you return, Megatron! As you observed, I can't go very fast or very far, as my creator decided to cast me with the tiniest feet from China".
  2. Does anyone else think Shocky's (Shockwave) feet are a tad small or it's being ignore by everyone because he's shocky? New Hot Rod seems to gain a few extra pounds above the belt line and received chicken legs in return. At this point, I wish a 3rd party would step up and make a better Hot Rod with near perfect alt mode.
  3. We'll never get that perfect or near perfect Hot Rod unless maybe it was designed by Hasui, too bad they took him off the masterpiece line. I'll still get this Hot Rod, since no other company is currently offering one. I wish I have the tallent to mod the current MP09 to make a better looking Hot Rod.
  4. I've canceled my preorder last week, was thinking of keeping it and repaint it to SW or Thundercracker, but nah. I'm still waiting for those Coneheads, will Takara ever release them!
  5. As a big Hot Rod fan, there's a lot of area that I'm not impress with this new version, example the flat chest and no detail collar, the Wing spoiler, the knee joint (it's missing that round joint). And that front skirt, doesn't appear to split, which means he will show his wee-wee again. Of course I will still buy it, regardless. Hopefully they will improve it in the production version. Still love my mp-09, but I'll keep him as Rodimus Prime once the new MP Hot Rod arrive.
  6. Yeah from the silhouette, this MP Hot Rod does look kinda weird, but then again so does MP Tracks and that turn out to be great. The legs and the spoiler doesn't look as good as MP-09. This new Hot Rod should include his Shield and light saber, I still love my MP-09, they just need to shrink it down to MP Tracks size and have a proper color (magenta), replace the skeleton hands (those hands are hideous), have bigger wheels, replace the front skirt for the bot mode, trailer not needed, and improve the overall QC. I can't tell you how much I love Hot Rod especially his vehicle mode, on the other hand Rodimus Prime, I do not care for. We'll just have to wait and see what's in store for us. It's great for those who are into Combiner Wars, I've never look into it and. They just look weird to me, it looks as if the G1 characters got mutated.
  7. A new in scale MP Hot Rod? This is what I've been waiting for! Although an MP Springer, Blitzwing, and Arcee would be nice too. This new MP Hot Rod should stand as tall as MP Tracks.
  8. Finally, a BLUE-Streak! This is the Bluestreak I remembered seeing as a kid, I guess it's because of the name. This version of Bluestreak is Prowl's twin brother, same head scluped just different colors.
  9. That photo is just absolutely stunning my friend!
  10. I too prefer big Dinos, that’s why I went with Giga. Combiner Dinos are cool, but I don’t have the founding source for it. On another note: I finally got some free time and started on fixing Giga Gutter’s loose hip, legs, and toe, and half of the dino’s neck. Upon inspections, I’ve found that one of the hip/thigh had the thread striped and the screw can no longer grip. This leg could've fell apart anytime. I replace the original (black) screw with a tad longer (silver) screw. And one of the toe was loose (to my surprise, metal toe), so I’ve added nail polish.
  11. I'll wait patiently for XTB to reveal their full figure Galvatron. DX9 Tyrant got the face/head dead on, the Cannon is also cool, but the rest I'm not liking it. Nearly 20" tall, Toyworld's Devastator looks impressive, will have to see if I could afford it. Thank goodness Long Haul is not obese like from the other 3P Long Haul. Now if only someone would also make the Aerial bots this size too.
  12. Shouldn't Thundercracker's nose cone be blue also? Anyway, I'll pass on this cause I already have the Hasbro one. Regarding this mold, there's three things that bugs me most: ther rubber nose cone, which doesn't fit flush; the rear landing gears; and the rear horizontal stabilizer holder, which makes the stabilizer easy to fall off. Thanks for the heads up F360! I got one on preordered this morning, $65 after tax and free S&H, I couldn't pass up. Although I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger, thinking why is the price so cheap. I was up at the time, because I had an upset stomach, then I wasn't able to fall asleep afterward so I decided to check this forum.
  13. I originally had two Quakewave, but sold one to a friend right a way. I did the LED swap for Quakewave eye, with the candle flickering effect. The feet is a bit loose just like my Hasbro Optimus Prime, but I can live with it.
  14. I Thought I was the only one here that got lost when everyone started talking about combinder wars. On an official MP toy, I thought it looked kind of strange with those hip panels in those positions. I bet a lot of folks are dying for MP Ironhide, as for me, he’s not one of my desirable characters, but I'll still get it for my MP collections.
  15. Ever since I first laid eyes on the Bandai VF-2SS model kit, I’ve been waiting and hoping one day they would make a perfect transforming toy. What really caught my attention was the battroid mode, it looks so cool, and especially the head design. As for the fighter mode, it looks ok, but I do like that green canopy. To have a 1/60 scale transforming toy, this is awesome. I do hope this new comer to the Macross franchise will also focus on the types of material and quality. If this toy turn out to be a flop, I’ll just leave it in battroid mode.
  16. My preorder for FT was immediately canceled after I saw MT version of Reflector. So far the bot mode has more appealing, with the electronic circuit looking chest and the feet and legs are much better looking than FT.
  17. I guss you guys missing my point, maybe because I'm not explaning correctly. Don't get me wrong, I'll take modern toys over the 80's toys anytime, but modern toys lack dicast and rubber tires, so when I pick it up, it feels light and in the back of my mind I expected to be heavy and when it's not heavy I'm a bit disappointed.
  18. Yeah modern toys are nice and all, but the quality aren't the same. The new masterpiece are great and all, but it doesn't have the same feeling when you pick it up. I missed the old toys which had die-cast and rubber tires.
  19. I don't like the design of the 29 either, but I do like this color.
  20. Nice catch David, Metroplex is cool, though I was never into bruticus. I'm hoping someone would remake Trypticon and Omega Supreme.
