Now, Vajra driving the Global doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but the scene itself is pretty awesome.

Dude, Yoshiki Fukuyama is the singing voice of Nekki Basara.

He's good singer. There's a video in Youtube of the Macross intro with Yoshiki covering the main theme. His version is pretty well executed...

A Zentradi power armor pilot helmet...

It kinda looks like the Clan Clang/Pixie Team Q-Rea pilot helmet from Frontier. The very odd thing is that I drew this design months before Frontier aired for the first time...

I promised a guy years ago that I'd try translating this comic, but never really got around to it. I've long since forgotten who asked me to, who knows if he's even still on the boards. I also have no idea what book this came from, as he provided the scans for me.

In any case, it's a pretty lame comic. Not very well drawn and not very interesting, but hey. Some parts of it don't make too much sense, which is probably about half my fault and half the fault of the original artist, as this comic really isn't that good/funny/interesting.

Yes, I realize my translating skills suck but I wanted something to practice on. A friend of mine did the Photoshop work and he did a better job with that than I did with the translation, I think. Anyways, comments and suggestions are welcome.

nice. Taking the modular aspect of the original pods and taking it further. And it makes sense in universe as well since the zents don't build or fix anything, they just add part or remove parts like giant legos.

That is a sweet lid,... Could you do a 3 view of it I might make you a 3d render of it for fun at some point. I like how you moved the HUD into the helmet, removes some serious point of reference issues with it being projected onto the canopy.

The first offical date was on July 2009, but it was changed to October 2009 a little afterwards. The very last date was February 7 2009, but since the Japanese SDF-1 launching event is on February 22 we may very well have yet another change in the official launching date from Kawamori (Dammit Soji!!! Make up your mind!!!!)...
