  1. Gawd, whoever originally wrote that stuff needs to be punched in the face. Stupid JP writers. >=O Anyway, my theory is this: Which makes it more evil. What's true, what's not? ARGGGH
  2. Oh on another note, it seems Sheryl's last name isn't Nome but Norm. A mag scan lists it as Norm and going back to check the first ep's promotional materials for Sheryl's visit(screens/posters/etc in the show), it's shown as Norm.
  3. Did someone throw some fanfiction at you? =x Anyway, that blobby reminded me of Spiritia but my idea is probably a lot less wacky than some of the stuff I've seen around about how you could fit the crazy stuff in Mac7 into Frontier. I mean really, I love Macross 7 but trying to fit anything from that show into another without watering it down is like trying to get a grizzly bear into a tutu, really difficult and possibly bloody. I have this feeling the plot will go a bit of the way I'm thinking, not entirely but a bit.
  4. The concept doesn't apply exactly to the PD only. They're just the silly ones to say it all the time and mmm tasty to them. Actually, if my wild speculation is true, I could imagine a really interesting plot based around it, har.
  5. Good episode overall, I still don't like the vocal music in this show very much though.
  6. I went with 20th because it's more likely that the VA screwed up than the animators, at least I think so. Besides, if it was 12 years ago, she wouldn't be that old. Probably mid to late 20s.
  7. They're probably right actually. I was pretty tired so I heard "teisatsu gari" instead of "teisatsu gaeri" which I mistook for "target hunting." On second hear, they're right. Or the sexiness of full sized Klein had the same effect as Jolly Bald on me, wait... Well hey, you're right. I think Jolly Bald (the nickname I gave for the dude) got me all scared and confused . There IS a nice little vocal snafu in the show though. The announcer says 12th Miss Macross contest but it's shown as the 20th. Probably "one of the only." I think I did "only survivor" because I assumed she was the only one and that would make her stock as a target for Leon a lot higher. The specific line he says is "Sono ikinokori da" which doesn't specify how many people survived, just the fact that she did. Wish I had the Close Caption stream, would be so much easier. Scanlating manga sure has its upsides.
  8. Oooof, I'll see about the xvid/divx release then but probably only as a private send for ya.
  9. Hrm, that sounds like you don't have the video codec then. That's a fairly common occurrence with all decoders and etc flying around. I'm not quite versed in macs but I think there's a h264 quicktime codec update or something. Maybe that'll help? The Altoh spelling was what I decided before the official spelling came out. I'll probably just stick with the h in there to be consistent I think. Sub files aren't going to be out until, maybe, after the series is over. It'll be up to the other guys though. I don't control the entire script like I do with the stuff I solo/duo.
  10. My (group) release is in mp4. It also should be compatible with the 360 right away, I think. The encoder has been encoding directly for his Xbox as of late I believe so it should be compatible. Well, it's what we assume to be a defect. The word Mikhail uses literally means "clumsy" which could possibly mean anything in actual science. It's possible that the micronization (or miclone-nization, however you prefer it) just doesn't like her and it scrambles her DNA during the process but it fits back into normal when she's at her normal size.
  11. Hmm, that should be able to play it I think. I had these kind of encodes work on a P3 1ghz before. Did you try Media Player Classic for Mac?
  12. Buh? Still having problems with h264? What's your PC's stats?
  13. Just let him know if he wants to talk to me about it that he can PM over at GAF.
  14. Zoku is used for a "race" of people as well as a tribe. The correct translation is dependent on the context it's being used. The kanji itself is used to describe a group of like beings or basically, a family. Kazoku uses the same kanji.
  15. They did, I just linked to the first thing that came up. It's spelled the same way in the Greek Alphabet section of the JP wiki http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%AE%E3%...%96%87%E5%AD%97
  16. If that manga is the canon spelling (for the JPs), then it's Rho Lambda. It's spelled ro- which corresponds more with Rho than Rau. http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%83%AD%E3%83%BC
  17. I nabbed the Triangler fan-transcription from gabrielarobin.com and fixed that as best as I could. So after I fixed that, there were about 5-6 errors compared to the official lyrics. It's mostly specific words and one entire sentence.
  18. Sweet, I got the official lyrics for Triangler. I can now fix them in the next episode. Yayz! And my Diamond Crevasse was perfect. Muwaha >=D
  19. Well, we don't know too much about how SMS operates. Even if SMS is a merc company, they may still have a similar structure when compared with the military. It's probably safer to just go with the conventional wisdom as opposed to assume otherwise.
  20. This is on the nose. Taicho is "Unit Leader" literally and that's what Mikhail and Luca. I used Captain as the position not the rank because it's more appropriate than saying "Leader" or "Unit Leader" or some permutation of it. Shousa is his actual rank, being the equivalent of a Major in the Japanese army.
  21. Heh, she says it twice actually. Once in Japanese, once in English.
  22. Which is why I need someone with a time machine to go into the future and get the official lyrics.
  23. Argh, I still can't figure out the lyrics for Aimo. Someone got a time machine to go into the future and get the official lyrics for me?
  24. The report's comments are kind of dumb though lol. Silly UNS officials =x
