  1. Has anyone figured out a way to protect the tampo prints from rubbing off from the RVF-25? Although happy with the RVF-25 (tight joints, mismatch green tints don't bother me a bit), the tampo print on the valk's left leg armor has started to rub off. Would spray painting with clear coat help? Has anyone tried it?
  2. Hi, I couldn't help but notice you saying that you re-bought replacement arms from HLJ. Can one buy spare parts for Yamato valks from HLJ? I'm dealing with a newly bought YF-19 with very loosey-goosey shoulder joints. Thanks!
  3. Yes, I did, if you're referring to the plastic "sleeves" on the upper arm (referring to the pic you posted above). The looseness is coming from the joint where the arm connects to the body of the valk. The shoulder joint is loose on both sides, preventing the valk from keeping its arms raised when the gun or shield is put in either hand. I heard about all the improvements with the YF-19 with fast pack and I was disappointed when I discovered the floppiness of the shoulders. Thanks so much for your help anyway! I'm hoping that I'm not the only one with the problem, because this valk would have been perfect otherwise.
  4. Thought I would de-lurk for a while to post a question. I finally bought a YF-19 with fast pack and was disappointed to find out that the shoulders are loose. As far as I can tell, the shoulder "pads" are glued together, so there's no easy way for me to get to the shoulder joints to apply some form of glue or clear nail polish. The arms are just a hot, floppy mess. It can't raise its arms at the shoulder joint to any degree. I read and re-read the YF-19 fix/mod thread and did not find anything that could help me. Thanks! I posted this to the YF-19 fix/mod thread as well. I apologize for the cross-posting

  6. Hi, I just wanted to pipe in and give credit to Yamato USA for sending me the replacement parts for the broken shoulder on the Garland. I sent an email yesterday afternoon around 1pm (see below) and received my replacement in the mail just this morning! Needless to stay I was very surprised and very much pleased at the response time. Incidentally, the Yamato USA office is in Torrance, CA and I live in Oceanside, CA. The proximity might explain for the speedy response, but I am nonetheless very impressed by their responsiveness. "Hi, I was told to email Yamato USA for a problem I have had with one of your products. The left shoulder assembly of my Megazone 23 Garland (original color) became brittle and came apart after only two transformations. Can you provide a replacement shoulder to the address below? Thanks so much for your assistance."
