it looks alot better than the r32, r33 and r34. it can't stand how those older versions look, but they drive wonderfully in gran turismo. the r35 is not as beautifully as the european cars (italy and germany ftw) but it is a huge improvement. this video documentary says that they based the r35 on japanese robots from anime (the squared corners, ect.). if you have the ms windows foreign language pack installed http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en you can go into ms word and type using hiragana. i tried it once and it converted it into kanji automatically for me. my language class did show me the kanji for the words, just the hiragana. i'm not sure if that will be of any help to you, i haven't tried it again in over 5 years.

the car only uses the battery when you start the car. after that the alternator powers the car. if the alternator is bad, then the car will run off of the battery instead but this will drain the battery (a jump will make the car start but you'll need a new jump whenever you start the car again until you replace the alternator). xenon lights might be draining it whenever you start the car and before the alternator starts over (don't take my word tho'). i just wanted to throw out the part about the alternator (in case somebody's alternator ever does go out, it cheap to replace tho').

i have rosetta stone on my pc, i've used it twice. the first time was when i first started studying korean and i didn't like it. the japanese and korean version doesn't teach you how to read and write. i went back to the website (and my book) that i was using. i went back to rosetta stone about a month ago and it really does help. i went through lesson one and i was able to match most of the pictures to the words that they said. but i already knew what the words meant thanks to my private tutor and book. so, i see it as a supplement to my book but i haven't bothered to use it again (i bought some index cards, cut them in half, and i wrote in korean script/hangeul on one side with the english definition on the other side; and i like that method better. i also found my index cards of hiragana, katakana and japanese vocab from my college japanese class while i was cleaning up one day). so, i wouldn't use rosetta stone by itself. if anybody wants to try it out, pm me and i'll give you my "Rosetta Stone - Korean Explorer [Retail] [PC & Mac]" megaupload link. i'm not sure if i would get in trouble for posting my link on MW or not. it has 24 languages on it but it only has the first 2 or 3 lessons. 24 Languages Korean Arabic Chinese (Mandarin) Welsh Danish German English (UK) English (US) Spanish (Latin America) French Hebrew Hindi Indonesian Italian Japanese Swahili Latin Dutch Polish Portuguese Russian Thai Turkish Vietnamese edit: it doesn't teach you grammar either. i knew (but i didn't have memorized) the grammar particles (-i, -ka, -neun, -eun, -leul, -eul, ect. korean particles and "underneath object", "above object", ect.. the only japanese grammar particle i know is "no").

ok, matt parkman only has the abilities to get inside somebodies head and make them believe anything that he wants (on top of his reading people's minds and painting the future). like when his dad locked him/made him think that he was in his greatest nightmare. so, nathan is supposedly dead. and, sylar is supposedly dead 'cause they burnt his body. mom petrelli had a another shapeshifter locked up somewhere (even though, the company burned down, pinehurst burned down and hiro/ando freed all of the superheroes that the gov't had locked up. but, she still had another guy locked up at an undisclosed location. anyways, that's not my point). so, she had matt get in the head of sylar and get out all of the memories of nathan. then, they made the shapeshifter think that he was nathan. but he also put sylar's memories into the shapeshifter's head and the shapeshifter also think that he is sylar subconsciously (wtf, why did he do that?!?). so, matt can only make the shapeshifter think that he is nathan. so, the shapeshifter's only power should be shapeshifting, not flying or taking other people's power. matt cannot transfer a heroes power from one person to another person. but, the shapeshifter now has sylar's power of superhearing clocks and fixing them. wtf?!? did the writers just give matt another power?????? ??????

i never liked it either. vol. 3 villians was better even tho' arthur was a little bit overpowered with the entire taking everybody's powers (peter and sylar to the extreme), teleporting (hiro) and time travel (hiro). i'm sick of bush and his war on terror and i didn't care to see bush, i mean nathan, fight terrorists... i forgot that they gave nathan claire's blood. this happened in chapter 2 when nathan was all disfigured from the explosion in the season 1 finale, right?

hell yea, i think that is what killed heroes too. i loved season 1 when i watched my friend's dvd set. he got me into the show. i then dl'ed season 2 (it had already ended/it was the writer's strike) and i enjoyed it. i then went online to catch up on heroes (to find out when season 3 was starting) and i saw that everybody hated all of the new heroes. i saw no problems with the new heroes. it is a superhero show and they should introduce new characters all of the time. they don't have to be regulars but they can make cameos, disappear for awhile, and then come back again for another cameo (just like x-men). but no, they listened to the forums and pretty much killed off anybody related to season 2 (yea, i'm still mad that nikki, daphne and elle are dead. they were cute, who cares about cheerleaders). they should have stuck to their original plan instead of changing things every 2 or 3 episodes just to please those "forums nerds" (no disrespect to MW). they should have known that those "forum nerds" will complain about EVERYTHING. you can't please them and they have chased off all of the other fans who don't post on forums. hats off to them for making a show that appeals to their smallest segment of fans...

my first 17in crt is dying on me (it's turn a shade of blue for 10-15 minutes, than back to normal and repeat). so i got a used 21 inch on craiglist of $25. but the new one is going out too, it has two horizontal lines where the pixels are missing (it's just a really, really thin blank white line). and sometimes it will turn off (flash black and make a popping noise) but it always come back on after a millisecond. so i got a another 17in backup on craigslist for $20. but the 21in spoiled me so i don't even use it (it's just my backup). luckily, my 21in lasted until i got my tax refund and i got a 22in widescreen from samsung. i'm loving the widescreen, i have so much workspace for when i have to use multiple programs for music production (i was about to go with dual non-widescreen monitors). i have more room on my desk now, but my desk is two levels (the second level just covers 2/3 the length of my desk) so i can't push it all the way to the back like i wanted to. now, i want to get dual widescreen monitors some day (after i get a bigger, better designed desk). so, i think you might like an lcd. but, i haven't even bothered to load my games (not even my cs1.6/css steam games) on my new quadcore pc yet; so i don't know how the gaming picture quality compares to my old crt.

yea, a little too crazy for me. they ruined the entire premise of the show. i think i might buy the dvd box set of season 1 and watch that over and over...

i actually got my idea for this thread from a clip on tv show that happen to show terminator vs. japanese robots. but i can't find the clip now. i thought that clip came from the daily show but i found nothing when i searched their website. edit: i remember now. it wasn't a clip, it was a guest on the daily show (or colbert show) who had a new book talking about robots. he mentioned terminator vs. the japanese robots. no wonder i couldn't find it when i searched robots on the daily show's website.

i never had a chance to see buck rogers. i thought that he was from battlestar galactica until i googled his name.

i'm more into the asian breakbeat scene. it's trance music with the bass removed and they add hip hop drums to it (some of them use accepellas instead of filtering out he bass). stuff like dj ghostchild, dj loopy, dj tinman & HhH (r.i.p. why, why, why?!? are americans so afraid of robots. why can't robots be cool like they are in japan. examples, the daily show on comedy central and even the attack of the show on g4 (i really thought that at least g4 would see robots as being cool) are always taking about how bad robots are. and just look at our movies. we have terminator and the matrix. even the transformers made the robots look "scary" instead of "cool". the only exception is star wars. but maybe we should put that movie into the eastern philosophy field, not western philosophy (the jedi are samurais and yoda speaks in subject-object-verb order a.k.a. japanese and korean, not subject-verb-object like the romance languages: english, french, italian, spanish, ect.). but when we look at japan, the robot is the hero. gundam, macross, full metal panic, ect. astroboy... i'm not trying to bring class warfare/education level into this... but are americans scared that robots are going to take their jobs??? the way i see it, an engineer or a computer programmer is not scared of them taking their job. is this something that factory workers/laborers/farm workers started because they got mad at machines (and robots) taking away their manual labor jobs way back in the 18th/19th century??? edit: i meant to say japan, my title is too long.

i've heard of his name, but i 've never listened to his stuff. i'm more into the breakbeat scene. i haven't heard a good vocal trance song in awhile. i've never been able to get into house music. i go clubbing with my friend sometimes and all that he listens to now is house. i'm always requesting breakbeats, lol.

does anybody listen to international hip hop or r&b? i used to listen to zouk (french r&b) and some french hip hop (saian super crew) but i'm no longer studying french (nobody speaks french here). i've moved onto korean hip hop & r&b. i need to branch out to some other hip hop groups besides drunken tiger's movement crew (cb mass/dynamic duo, epik high, tbny, buga kingz, leessang, t [tasha] aka yoon mi rae, eun ji won [weon], ydg [yang dong geun], deegie, double k, booby kim, bizzy, ect.), honey family, lexy and mc sniper. i only understand about 5-10 words that they say, but that number increases as my k-vocab increases (plus it helps to watch the subtitled videos). american hip hop??? i don't even know who to listen to anymore (most of my favs retired and b.e.t./mtv no longer plays vidoes)...
