I told you guys. Kawamori-sama surely took notes from Gundam Zeta. In few episodes, most anime fans worldwide are doing to talk how Macross Frontier entered the LEGEND by killing the main characters. I'm sure Kawamori-sama is doing it for the good of the Macross universe. Thanks Kawamori-sama for your courage and long live to you.

While i agree that the Macross Zero dogfights absolutely ROCK (and are, quite possibly, the best ones animated thus far), my sentimental favorite would still be Isamu vs. Guld, their final dogfight on earth. i mean, my jaw just DROPPED when i saw that fight.

i guess by the time macross zero came along, i already expected spectacular dogfights, given the budget and recent technological advances in animation. but when MacPlus came out... man, oh man, that really shocked my systems to the core.

Same here dude. When I watched Macross Plus for the first time, I did not know that was possible to animate fight like that in an animation work. I guess I was so used to watch crap cartoon. F*uch yeah anime and Macross !!!

A series or an OVA showing what a colonial fleet do after finding an habitable planet.

Macross 7 question:

Does Macross 7 have any female nudity or almost nudity or hyper-revealing attire?

I want to watch the show around my overly-sensitive GF without getting killed. I discreetly edited out the Minmay shower scene from DYRL so I can watch the DYRL movie on my TV at home (not that Minmay's tatas added anything to the movie). I'm not even going to bother with Mac Zero cos I've already seen it all.

On a decency scale, is it closer to SDF:M or Mac F?

If nudity is restrained to one episode, I can just skip it or edit chunks out... I guess.

The second ending (episode 35 to 49, including Encore and The Galaxy's Calling Me) contains footage where you can see Mylene boobs (no nipples) and ass. But it's not like a full frontal nudity. It's more like a side nudity. So in my opinion, it's closer to SDFM.

No being un-confident is illogical when it's already sold more dvds and bluerays off 1 volume than 90% of the anime produced this decade, when it's sold over half a million in singles and albums, when it's the second most popular anime this season going by mag polls and japanese forum activity behind Code Geass R2 (R2 and Frontier are so much more talked about on 2ch than anything else from Spring and Summer its not funny). It has 3 manga adaptions, a light novel adaption, a psp video game, had a pizza hut tie in.

OK, you convince me. But I'm still waiting for a Macross PS3 game to be REALLY convinced.

Off 1 volume alone it's already sold more than 90% of shows this decade...

But we are talking for ONE volume. I want to see the sales for the upcoming volumes. This is why I'm saying that being confident at this time is illogical.

In this scene Grace shows us that she too has hopes and dreams! And let me say those are very nice hopes and dreams!

And I can say for sure that her hopes and dreams get bigger with time.

Don't worry. Given what's happened with the previous "successful" Macross releases, it's highly likely that we'll see more Macross F (or another new Macross production.)

Keep in mind:

SDF:M -> DYRL, FB2012 (and all the other Macross series)

M7 -> Galaxy is Calling, Dynamite, 3x bonus episodes.

I won't be surprised if we get a movie, an OVA series, and perhaps even bonus episodes.

Don't get confident. We don't know yet if Macross Frontier is a success even in Japan.

Ranka is way too cute to be vaporized by Macross Quarter or Battle Frontier main cannon. Wishing death by main cannons for cute people mean you hate them. However, I can see Sheryl being the victim of both main cannons since she is not really that cute.

Lynn Minmay. Basara is a Minmay fan. This is why he believe in music so much : To touch the enemy heart like Minmay did with the Zentradis.

Again because of Minmay. Basara took notes of how Minmay fought the Zentradis without using violence. In a Macross 7 episode, Doctor Chiba stated that Basara was following Minmay footsteps.
