Okay here goes (don't throw tomatoes): Both the Ranka and Sheryl faction love it, Ranka fans are happy that Sheryl has lost everything, Sheryl fans are happy because her character is being developed Of course I thought this was silly, the world isn't composed of two factions of fans Oh yes, we get a new OP = happiness, positivity, yaay!!!

Did you guys notice, this episode didn't have that much Negative votes as the previous ones? I have a whack theory on why, but I suppose I'll keep it to myself

My post should be taken in context of everything posted here, not as a stand-alone. Yes it's a silly thread, I'm not arguing against that. Lighten up.

I was about to point this out too. Even printed pin-ups of nude women are just ink if you think about it (may even be Photoshopped). And videos are just pixels and binary. But then they all represent female bodies, and depending on how imaginative a person is, could work all the same way. How realistic does ink and pixels have to be, to be erotic? That's personal preference. I don't know why this thread has turned out to be a debate like this, it was just meant to be for fun right? I saw humor the moment I read the first post. Perhaps the better way to discuss the issue is to make a really serious thread that discusses your distaste for fan service in Frontier or in any other animation. (But then, last I saw, the anti-loli thread was deleted even if the people discussing were very civil.)

I didn't find the cellphone and locker thing erotic or turn-on at all, I'm surprised that a lot of people are voting for it. I thought it was funny And for those people who are face-palming this thread, lighten up! The people who post in this thread are not always thinking of sex as you guys think (even the alleged fact that males think of sex every 6 seconds is a fallacy you know) The writers of the animation really wanted to put in some sexiness when they designed the voluptuous female characters and wrote the script to the locker scene, or the scene where Sheryl's dress gets undone, so why not discuss it? People can't always talk about technical specifications and analyze plot twists... just lighten up once in a while! It's good for your brain cells not to be frying them all the time (although don't relax it too much, the cells might die from atrophy, haha)

I don't think it's a question of what we want, but a question of what they will give us. It doesn't necessarily mean that if a person theorizes an outcome, that that's exactly what the person wants to see. Say I theorize that Sheryl will die in the end, I'm absolutely just guessing, though I would hate for that to happen. Perhaps, that's why this thread is not entitled, "what do you want the outcome to be?", because that is going to be a different topic. Live and let live

I don't think it's bad to discuss these things right? In the first place, the thread title says "theory". If it's wrong, then it's wrong, if it's right then the guesser has bragging rights

I don't want it convoluted, I'm just Photoshopping, just giving a little hand to someone from Animesuki who put I think about 6 photos of them side by side just for comparison purposes. I just made it a little easier for that person to compare I think people are drawing the argument from the fact that all the Macross F characters so far look so different from each other, and then we have a near match And... you mentioned "What about Shery's memories shown early in the series of being alone on the streets on the Galaxy?" I think the person you quoted mentioned that she could have been discarded. She doesn't remember her mother's face either.

There's really no hard evidence that Sheryl is related to Ranshe (they only look similar and have one syllable in their name as the same, but that doesn't mean anything). Let's just sit back and watch

I like it... but there are too many rehashed footage, the new scenes are not that smoothly animated, even for an OP. What are they complaining over in the Chinese forums?
