Really? Metal Gear? Hmph, never thought about that before...never even really played the games they're not my kind of genre to play. Well, the First game for the PS1 I played and finished and that was okay, but the others I didn't have interest cause of the overly long played out cut scenes. I'm trying to get the ball rolling on the remaining cast members, recasted the role of Catherine Glass to a young girl named Yuffie who is playing a role in the Macross Aria webisode series by Che. I'm REALLY trying to get this thing out this weekend but I kind of doubt it, it'll probably be 2 more weeks.

I'll see if I can take some pictures. Like I said, the material is fine, it's tough, it just could use a zipper to be complete. The pants though I wasn't impressed with cause there are ZERO pockets, just for show, so I'll get my own pair of brown cargo pants. The thing about cosplay, is that if you don't wanna spend the big bucks, you can't expect to get something amazing. I had someone quote me almost 500 dollars for a "realistic" looking DYRL style uniform. Basically using the same materials of spandex that was from the Superman Returns film.

Its by a group called coskingdom. They got a pretty good selection of frontier outfits made to your size. I got one from them 2 months ago but they screwed it up and I had to wait until Last month to get it fixed. pretty good quality and looks nice when its done right.

K......SO back to the subject at hand which is Macross Cosplaying...I FINALLY got my new SMS Jacket with the improvements. It's got the collar strap and the right SMS patch, positioned and correct color. It's just missing a zipper which I think I'll try and put on myself if I can...then I'll just need a new pair of cargo pants and boots and I'm all set for that cosplay.

Well I did accomplish some stuff today. Mippa did her lines for Sheryl and they were excellent. So there isn't a lot left but yeah I'm bummed though that I gotta do some recasting on a few roles.

Yeah good trailer, kind of makes me feel sorry for Marcus a little bit. But glad we're gonna see some Endo action.

So far the extras hold the lead in finishing their lines. I believe I have one more guy I'm waiting on and the bit roles will be filled up. The remaining mains besides Michel and Grace haven't reported in...Mippa said she would turn in her Sheryl lines ASAP, Cristina is tied down with something but only has 5 lines left to go, Rashinban hasn't even given me a reply to several emails I sent him about Alto, Chris is sick so I might have to replace him for Leon, Che is working on building a suitable Voice Over work station so I would think maybe another week until I get his Ozma lines. Brooklynn who is playing Luca hasn't reported in for a while, and Maija who is Nanase will probably turn stuff in later in the week...she's in a bit of trouble right now for personal reasons. So I wont make my deadline like I had hoped, was close but no cigar. I'll need to recast Leon and Cathy thus far, I hope it wont be any others. Small update, I did receive about mmm less than half of Alto lines from Rashinban and I about dropped my jaw. With what time he's had doing this role and countless others plus his other obligations, he's done a fantastic job. I think the fans are really going to enjoy his voice for the part, and with him and the countless other VA's, this'll probably rank right up there with DYRL's excellence, and I'm not just throwing that around.

Mhmm...so far I'm not big on any of the toys or designs this time. I'm sure i'll like the movie....unlike some who pass judgement already. But toy wise, nah...im still trying to get rid of the ones i got NOW for two years.

Ooooo that lil bit of eye candy was cool, looked like T-700's or something. I'll more than likely pass on the HotToy replicas.....just way to spendy for me.

Keep waiting I'm afraid. I'm more than likely going to release it with Episode 2 so it's consistent. But I'm still missing things so it's still gonna be a while...but yeah it was a good scene. Aries' explenation on the Aphios wasn't too shabby either, but I don't have enough to pile on that scene for show.

Tough call, they're pretty simple, I'd buy 'em if they wer elike as cheap as the Bandai stands, but atleast these work better since they're purpose is for Yamato toys....but then I'd be a tad bummed spending 40 dollars on stands for most of my collection.

The pilot outfit, awesome, the cosplayers so so wrong. The ones above, HAWT, I'd marry 'em or I'd be their slave, it doesn't matter.

1 week to go and so far I'm a tad scared, but excited. A vast majority of the episodes main characters are finished cept Sheryl, Alto, Ozma, Grace and Luca. Raaah! Hard to sit still.

Hmm, for the money we have to pay there shouldn't be any kind of breakages...but sometimes it's user error in my opinion.

There was a small snipet of scenes at the end of the Oscars for films coming out in 09, and in HD 0_o it looked SWEET. Skull crunching tanks, classic HK, assembly of Endoskeletons, and a nice shot of the T-600.

Hm Quarter looks good for a prototype. And 500 dollars isn't too far off from what I predicted, STILL it's going to get marked up by Retailers for US selling, and I'm sure the shipping will be a rape as well, probably 60+ cause of weight and cause international shippers like to fondle our wallets. It's a bit too steep for me right now...I'm got things planned and gotta save up as much as possible between now and July and that is very difficult.

Well the older clips have changed, the newer ones are more authentic to the episode after doing a SFX hunt for whatever could be useable...which I think was maybe 6 episodes of the 25 that I could rip from.
