It's interesting to know that when they were designing the VF-1s, they made them pretty compact as compared to the VF-0s, YF-19, YF-21 and the later generation of Valkyries.

Personally I'll say, go with the original YF-21. A more nicer blue and not soo floppy joins. Minus pt is you don't get the FPs... Jerry

I have one slight problem with my Rook Alpha. Hope any of you guys can help... Would anybody know on how to go about tightening the joints at the shoulder, as mine seems super loose. And how to dismantle the shoulders safely without damaging the plastic... Any advise would be greatly appreciated...

Oh! So I guess RT.com have not managed to clear their initial 3000 Rooks with the LE cells yet. Interesting. I would have thought Rook was the more popular character.

I recently got my Robotech Store order for Rook. I was abit surprised to get the LE cell. I thought there was only 3000 produced for each release. Mine was no. 04667. The QC of these MPC are hopeless. The centre torso between the two air intakes are slightly differently tones of white. One side looks dirtier white, while the other side is a cleaner white. And there seems to be stress marks already. Nonetheless I'm planning to get the Shadow.

Oh!... And the paint job on mine isn't that great! I'm more thankful, nothing has dropped off. Do all the Rooks have crooked heads, looks bad!

Oops my bad! Mine is 04600. I was more worried of missing or broken parts. That's why I transformed it first, to confirm everything is there and working. Some of the parts are really tight. You really have to use a lot of force. I had to unscrew some of the parts. I also worn out some of the paint job, by passing too hard on the painted parts. Resulting in some of the paint stick to my fingers.
