  1. Thanks all. It took long enough. I'm now trying to get the stuff I need to finish up the YF-25 Prophecy Paladin kit. I finally have the lance the way I think I want it, and now just need to finish the painting for the YF-25 itself. I'll update that thread.

  2. Hey all. Since I've been stuck at home, I was finally able to finish this kit. The last pieces were the wing lead vernier, and I was finally able to recast the ones I had designed and finally attached them. Being that the don't have a lot of space to attach, I used a plastic welder to "weld these to the back part of the upper main body. Hope you like. I also wanna rank Xigfrid for the leg, arm, and the nose attachments. All of it works as it should. Aside from maybe designing a VF-25 gun that will attach properly, I am done.20200421_162209.thumb.jpg.a62f019f0d05a50d8ca0e415a314150c.jpg

  3. Thanks. I'm hoping to get some more of my projects off the ground, and being at home for several weeks, I think I've caught up on a lot of things I've been wanting to do. I'm thinking about redoing the Spiderbug kit and make it a set available for order, so I will create a separate thread for it, and post some updates here as I go. The idea will be to make it where the arms can move and a pilot can be inserted, but my CAD skills are not that great, and I need to brush up.

Yes, FDM version is just for batt mode scale fitting. Yesterday I adjusted the helmet slightly to fit the fighter mode. Now printing using SLA material to check the fighter mode. Stay tunned.

That is really great news. Can't wait to see the final result. I also have the other version, but I'm wanting one that has a little better size as well. If it ends up fitting for both versions, I'm in for one.

Sorry. Didn't update it since the holidays came around it got pushed to the back burner. I'm currently on the intake covers and trying to find a compromise on the fin part. I started back up and working on the chest piece.

Glad it is still a work in progress. When you finish it up, I hope you make it available for purchase. I'd like to put one of these together.

  6. I was thinking of redesigning it as well at one point. I wanted to make the handle piece extra long, so that it anchored throughout the entire lance, but also make the pointed part of the lance one piece. Sadly my computer I use my software on with Sol8dworks is corrupt, and I don't have a backup to make anything at the moment.

  7. Since you're remaking these parts, I definitely want a set. I wasn't big on the two part lance, so is this available? The only thing though, if it is one piece, it must be a bit hard to paint the connector piece with the silver and orange, no?

  8. Wow, all these look great. Great work, Xigfrid. That is looking like it was a toy that you bought. Have you tried transforming it into Battroid with the paint on it? If so, how does it hold up?

  9. I'm still wanting to get to my kit to build it, but I'm in need of finishing two other kits I'm currently working on.

Has anyone reproduced one of these kits? I feel like my collection will never be complete without one.

The designer is Xigfrid, so he'd be the one to do that.  From what I know, it hasn't been redone yet, but perhaps in due time.

    Interesting!!!!!

I would like see pictures once you install it:spiteful:

I'll put them up. I'm gonna recast it first. I get these done in their hi definitely material, so it doesn't need a lot of work, but its brittle.
