i got one through ae (sorta in a panic last night), but my 3 buddies ordered one each from hobby digi.  being an hk shop i guess makes me feel less nervous.  only empirical instincts there.  

i'm sure many of the other shops we're all used to will open up orders tonight

(my wife is going to kill me getting up at 2am on Christmas to do this - she definitely doesn't understand and constantly tells me to stop it as its a TOY that doesn't seem to bring me joy, only pain and anguish).

I had a bad expereince with nng a dispute when they tried to sell my hikaru for roy in preorder and took  full money and had to fight it with paypal for 2 months

looking ahead at the vf-1d up for preorder on xmas eve.  when it's a web exclusive, how are we in the states going to be able to snag one?  are any retailers like big in japan, mykombini, anime export, or any others going to somehow carry it?   correct me if i'm wrong, but aren't the 2nd release of the super set also a web exclusive, which are currently available from the mentioned retailers right now?  many thanks guys!

Finally got mine from Nin-Nin yesterday.  The packaging inside merely consisted of one layer of small bubble wrap around the entire Valkyrie, and the shipping box was less than 1 inch free around the item's packaging (sides and top).  Not impressed as the box could/should have been better protected (couldn't they have at least done two layers of bubble wrap?!), and there are very minor creases and dents on the item's packaging (most likely from the shipping as the outside shipping box looked haggered).  I'm at least grateful that Nin-Nin fulfilled my order (considering the bad reviews I read about them earlier in the year).

Now waiting for my second one from Okini which is arriving next week, and then the fast/strike pack from Anime-Export.  Hopefully, these two places package their items better.  I think AE does from past purchases I've had with them.

thanks, paid a bit more on okini than i would've liked.  on the flipside... still waiting on the my mid batch nin nin.  whereas the more expensive later batch one already shipped.  man... ethics right?

again, in my case i have 2 ordered on po night.  one earlier at a cheaper price.  one later that night at higher price.  they've already shipped the more expensive one, leaving my first (and cheaper) order stranded...  i'm still waiting on that shipping confirm.  ethical...

just completed an order on okini land to back up my 1 of 2 nin nin roys still pending shipping notice.  13 usd for shipping on okini was too good to be true.  ended up being 43 usd via dhl shipping.  310 total.  not great, not bad...

Here’s a suggestion: how about all of us NNG buyers keep track of when/how much our preorders were, and let others know once we have shipment updates so at least we all know if they had systematically fulfilled the pricier orders before the cheaper ones. That “evidence” would probably help our case more than spam emails asking “where’s my stuff”?

i put in 2 orders for roy on po night.  the one place later on in the night at a higher price has been shipped by nin nin...   the earlier one only has payment confirmed...

yeah maybe, in any case.  for those that missed out on the initial po madness, a good opportunity to snag one at a decent price.  and at least based on my experience, mykombini has been reliable.  also, i don't remember mykombini being in the in fray during po.  chances are they're a retailer that prefers to have their merch in hand before promising it out.  but who knows...
