I guess what I want to say is... if they really want to do idol genre they should actually do idol genre. Taking cues from the best, like Love Live. But with a sci fi slant. It would not be classic Macross but I'd watch that.
I'd want to see the full angst of Mikumo realizing she is a clone. I'd want to see Freyja staying by her side through the worst of it and their relationship developing beyond the hints in series and movie. Darnit, demote Mirage to extra already (she's halfway there) and make the mandatory triangle Hayate-Freyja-Mikumo, that would actually be a proper triangle, not a pretend one. I'd want to see established relationship niceties between Makina and Reina (and I said niceties not lewdities), and Makina giving another go to her engineering dreams and perhaps they'd build something flying together, with Reina doing the AI, or perhaps they try but fail because something. I'd want to see Kaname going through hope and then grief and then picked up by the girls actually caring about her even while they sort their couple stuff.
Yes, none of this is "macross", well so what.
Guess what? I do like your story suggestion for me to start caring for the characters again. And I'm pretty sure they can fit it along with Valkyrie battle actions within 26 episodes. As long that they write it properly and strategically per episodes.

Why lucky? Haven't they showed the prototype the show after the announcement? I don't think they stretched things out like the Figma Bubblegum Crisis Motoslave.
Jenius is pointing out Houquet’s in which they only just showed a card stock image during the show. Hence, why we’re going to be lucky to see a prototype. The actual prototype shown is Yellow’s.

That is awesome Tekering! I don't have the Stealth VF-1 but I appreciate it besides Skywarp.

They scale pretty closely, which is a little ironic to me, as the VF-1 was inspired by the F-14, which is larger than the F-15, and yet the VF-1 is quite a bit smaller by comparison. I'm guessing the VF-0 is much closer in size to the F-15.
VF-0 is just point meters shy away from a F-14.

Your Stick has yellowed Noel? Both my Beagle Stick and Rei have yellowed thigh armor.
Hey Ignacio. Yeah. On my first Stick. Both thigh armors, lower portion of the helmet (chin guard area), and the wheels.

Smart ....
Or why buy ALL when you can just paint it? I mean, if you think about it's much cheaper that way. Don't you agree?

Star Wars: Episode 4 - A New Hope
Hahaha! I was thinking of the same thing earlier, JVM. But decided not to post it. Don't want to start something.
How about Jurassic World then?

I used premixed developer 40 hair gel cream. The cream is viscous and thick so it's easier to apply. This is the one I used.
Hope that helps.
So it's safe to apply it directly? No mixture needed?
Thanks. I might try to apply it on one of my Beagle Stick.

You're welcome. The spelling in German is something like this -- 'Scheiße'. I also checked and shaiza still shows up on web search and it's basically the same thing or it means crap. Probably it's the phonetic version of scheisse for English language people since we don't use certain letter in the Alphabet such as 'ß' like other European countries. Don't worry guys. I just Google'd this.

Sad to say, it is actually. But it is what it is. They set up the system like that and it's how they do the business. And it's why we really do need to read all those Policies implemented and their FAQ's first before we started do business with them. And most collectors here just swallow that whole concept because it's the only way to get our figures from abroad.

^ Nice! It really has that centerpiece shelf presence.

That looks good!
But now you're making me want a HMR Hikaru VF-1S.

I really do love his guest stint in Mallrats. Funny and yet clever. Makes me want to watch the movie again.

Or they should just lock the thread first for the time being until there's really 'new official announcement' for it. I mean, 40 pages in now and there's no concrete thing going on yet.

What's shaiza ?
If he’s referring to the German word ‘scheisse’, then what it means is ‘sh!t’.

I read that the designer Mamoru Nagano was asked to simplify his designs because the manufacturer couldn't make his intricate designs, so he toned them down for toys. Here's the original design from Five Star Stories, much more intricate, and looks like a black knight. The same designer mamoru nagano also designed mechs in Gundam Z, which influenced later designs of other mech lines. His designs are noted for feminine and organic look, and high heels, compared with his contemporaries' designs of blocky robots. If Bandai would add these bots to the HMR line, I'd buy them all. With Bandai's current tech, they can and should issue this line in HMR.
Five Star Stories was created after he finished L-Gaim. So it’s impossible that he was asked to simplify the earlier L-Gaim designs for toy development because he made intricate designs for FFS treatment afterwards.
54 minutes ago, fenrir72 said:Fiddly? So the Evolution version sucks? Did they adapt the same transform mechanism? I was hoping the much bigger scale would have some advantages over the Bandai version (Mine's (HMR Nexx) in the pipeline btw)
Yes. Do you own a EvoToys VF-2SS? And no, Bandai didn’t adapt EvToys transforming mechanism. Bandai made it better sans the arm and legs tab locking mechanism. This is why it’s fiddly for me. But the rest it was better than the EvoToys. And Bandai came after Evo release. So in that sense, Bandai corrected what EvoToys cannot do.

And a 100 pages worth of bashing NY for the VF-31A fiasco.

I have to agree it's fiddly but not so much like the 1/60 counterpart. It's the best VF-2SS out there so far.

Thanks guys! I'm thinking if it's worth it to get the Yellow Stripe figure just for the head.
