the so-called FP are just fuel tanks I think, coz VF-0 are not nuclear powered. maybe in the 4th and 5th ep of MO, we will see other kind of FP such as underwater-use or space-use...there must be variants...

yes, there is a pilot, a gunpod, and a set of FP, that's what the price(2800yen) for! the VF-1 series weapon set comes with pilots, but this time they will offer pilots with the plane itself, so what will there be in the non-exsist VF-0 weapon set?

the 1/144 maxl and vf-17 are non-transformable, each kit contains one fighter and one batroid, only basic detail, but the price is fair enough. 1/100 vf-19s/f have different wing shape, and different batroid head, shoulder according to the anime. transformable, not perfect. more detail up. all those bandai kits can be done without cement and paint, they have stickers. but glue and paint will give them solidity and decent impression. find more information at here: http://www.macrossworld.com/macross/models...bandai_main.htm and www.hlj.com, search "macross"

in the 4th pic, I saw "4000YEN" there, maybe that's the price will be? it's about 40USD? still not a cheap one, let's wait and see more details.

besides some "normal" military jets model, I suggest some Bandai HG(1/144) Gundam models to practise, if you don't have any experience on "Robot", they are cheap and rather easy to build. just snap on and need no paint. but if you want some decent effect, use them to practise basic assemble\cement\painting\cutting skills etc.. as tetsujin said, try to remove "snap-fit pegs", to get some custom lessons. then you can take a Hasegawa Batriod Valk to go on, not complex too much. after that, try the Fighter mode Valk.

any warm-hearted who attended this HK tour, can you tell me where to buy Yammie 1/48 Roy Focker jet at a nice price? under 700HKD will be ok, thanks a lot~~

Fighter mode is a standard plane model, if you've done some before, then you won't get big trouble on this VF-1, just more parts. the Batroid mode is more easy to build, most parts are snap-on, maybe you can find it's just like a regular Gundam model. of coz, some glue and paint will be better.
