  1. As long as I can get a MB-like 1/100 Nu Gundam to go with this recent Sazabi, I won't have any panties left.
  2. Oh dayum, that was fast. Poison toys have definitely been working hard in the shadows.
  3. I want to say maybe a little less than a week after they posted the pre-order. I think the 1st batch initially sold out and then they put it back up for order for the 2nd batch.
  4. Most likely both of these are coming in stock some time soon. I didn't get notified for Kampfer yet, but that's probably because I could be in the 2nd batch of pre-orders. I knew Sazabi is coming soon, but not this soon . Going to have to figure out how to pay for all of this.
  5. My favorite description from CDjapan is "personal use toy" for any gokin or valkyrie I get from them. My mail-carrier always gets a kick out of it and so do I.
  6. Despite some drops in quality in Vinland Saga, they really stuck the landing in the end. That was an incredible finale. While I would really like a season 2 I'm not sure it's selling well enough to warrant that......
  7. Pulling down the shoulders messes with the proportions of the VF-25 and it's still just relying on the tightness of the hinges than a secure male and female part holding parts of the chest together. Even when the shoulders were pulled all the way down the neck assembly still awkwardly floated over the fuselage of the plane. Bandai did a great job with the VF-31 chest and backplate locking in place with dedicated clips that made for a very solid battroid mode. I'd like to see the same engineering carried over to the 29/25 mold. Yup. In other words, no more half-baked locking systems on the 25/29 please.
  8. For me, I'd want a more well-designed chest locking mechanism where part A and part B make a lock and key kind of connection rather than smooshing parts together and relying on the tightness of hinges to keep it all together. In other words I'd like a locking mechanism similar to the VF-31 mold.
  9. I'd be all in if they changed the hip joints to ratchets, matte finish like you said and made sure the crotch connectors were made of materials that did not crack over time. It would also nice if battroid mode had an improved locking mechanism of the chest.
  10. Once Bandai pushes their Metal Structure Nu gundam out, maybe the same guys making the Sazabi will do the Nu. Hopefully, Papa Bandai will keep a blind eye to all of this metal shenanigans going on.
  11. As far as animation accurate Garland toys go, the arcadia is the best one so far with an excellent transformation scheme and good articulation minus anything at the waist. With that being said the Arcadia one has points such as the knees and chest that are prone to paint chipping. Just bending the knee can scrape the grey paint off. Additionally, you'll probably have to add a thin layer of super glue to the inside of the shoulder joint as it's a metal mushroom peg around a plastic socket and there's not much friction going on in there. On the bright side, no reports of breaking or disintegrating parts like the old Yamato ones......
  12. Oh boy that's a complex transformation and fiddly transformation. Although not as bad as the dumpster fire that was the EX-Garland from part III.
  13. Whelp, put in my PO for both Kampfer and Sazabi on ShowZ. I'll wait to see how quality turns out on Sinanju.
  14. I remember seeing Yaco's post on twitter and he had the same issue with the hinges cracking in the area folks are pointing out above. I haven't checked my Rei or Stiq, but I will in due time. I'd probably send these images to Sentinel's twitter account and try to make them aware of the issue. Ah crap I just noticed the left side has a stress mark and I haven't even transformed Yellow's ride armor yet.
  15. The sample is looking real good. I was initially worried the ankle tilt would be rather limited, but it seems it has decent range. Hopefully this is one of Threezero's more durable products and continue to release more Japanese mecha for relatively affordable prices. How do I get Threezero to make a Type Zero from the first movie because I swear that doesn't have an amazing toy yet.
  16. Yikes, what was fewture thinking of putting diecast in the forearms without using some proper weight bearing ratchets to overcome gravity. Thanks for all your input man. In the end I think I'll just settle with my Arcadia Garland for the time being.
  17. @Bobby Out of the box the Garland is a kind if unstable at the hip joints? The figure also couldn't hold the gun up due to weak shoulder joints? If so that is a shame at this price. The Arcadia Garland also had oddly toleranced shoulders that after a handful of poses got very loose.....and needed a thin layer of super glue to be brought back to life.
  18. @Bobby Thanks for the action poses! I'm glad to see the waist is adjustable. If I do pick one up I'll leave the torso more collapsed to eliminate the elongated torso look. Urge to buy rising.....
  19. Thank you for your first impressions! How well does it pose in slave mode? All I've seen is of pictures of it just kind of standing there. How are the joints? Any ratchet joints?
  20. Enough brown box pictures. Let's see how this 3.5 year delayed figure stacks up with some hot in-hand photos
  21. I'm happy Sentinel added a bit more tampo printing to Yellow himself and his ride. Good stuff. Hopefully we see a painted Hoquet by the next major hobby show.
  22. Lets see if all of the delays have done this release any favors or if it's a hot mess.
  23. Nice boxart! It would be cool if Sentinel tampoed or painted something on the control panel like the boxart.
