  1. Well from my understanding. The GBP Valks (im taking reference in what was said in Robotech Macross Saga) that they where reserved for special missions. Well thats what Lisa told Rick when he "Borrowed" it. So im guessing that those Valks with the armor are numbered accordingly to how many GBP are reserved for Spec Ops. And so i guess that the one Rick took, was a VF-1J equiped with the first GBP. So if you look at it, Rick´s VF-1J wasnt numbered 001 in the tv series (Roy had the 001) his number if you look up Perfect Memory was 101. Yet his GBP armour has the Nr. 1 on it. Just my two cents. -Jin

  12. Hey Everyone Thanks for the replies. I think the way a macross fan should watch it, is simply to watch it as an independant Macross anime and try not to mix to many expectations of other previos Macross series and OVA. One of the main reasons why i liked Macross 7 was because Gamlin hated Basara as much as i do, specially during combat situations and all of Basara´s "listen to my voice" blabber he always says. Besides ignoring Fire Bomber "sound force" and the speacker booster packs (which kinda reminds me of Macron One) The rest of the story was pretty good. In my opinion it had alot of the Macross SDF-1 feeling to it, not the same...but in a different way. I think there was alot of other stuff in M7 that made me like it such as Diamon Force´s faith, Gamlin and Mylene´s romance, Miria´s Veritech...etc. I think it was good. Macross 7 is still not my fav, but as a whole i like it. Weird thing was....after the first 12 episodes, i really hated/anoyed at Basara´s song. Funny...i think after the 12th episodes, i found myself singing Basara´s song when i was doing my daily stuff at home -Jin
  13. Hey All. Well i just finished watching the entire Macross 7. Well id like to admit that i couldnt imagine how in earth i would enjoy this series. But as a macross fan i am, i bought the entire series and i had to atleast watch it once. So i did... ...well as it turns out, it was hard for me to really get into it. But as the series progress i must say...it isnt that bad. I mean Macross 7 isnt my favorit, but its not as BAD as i thought it would be. Im glad to know that even the charecters in the series also thinks that Basara´s singing is also a bit of. And as someone in here once said about M7...there are other aspects which are being told in M7, besides the "singing" which one can easely overlook. In short, i think M7 isnt as bad as i expected it would be. Am i the only one who thinks this about Macross 7? -Jin
  14. Weee!! thanks alot.. I have another question. In regards to the PG Gundam kits. Which Gundams in the PG do you think has really good detail and quality. The "W Gundam Zero Custom" being one of the coolest, are there other types i should look for? Sorry for the many questions, there are so many Gundams, and im particularly interested in the PG series cause i get the impression that its the "1/48" of Gundams. So i would just like to know what other kits within the PG series are really worth getting. So what else to add to the list? W Gundam Zero Custom? All of the gundams in the PG line? -Jin
  15. lemmie seee -Jin
  16. Hey Haterist I did some "weathering" with my VF-1J too. If you are looking for a safe and easy way of doing some panel lines, i suggest you use a 0,5 pencil. Smalle if possible. Then just fill in the lines, and to get that "Used" and more realistic "dirty" look. Then just wipe ur finger aross the lines (with the airflow) and thats it. You might wanna take a piece of paper, then really scribble alot on a smal part of the paper, so the lead from the pencil is really think and black, then take an eraser and then rub it on the paper till the eraser is really black. Then you select certain parts on your valk, that you wanna dirty up...then smudge/rub the eraser with the airflow against the panel lines. If you want more acurate dirty effect then use the finger Or you can simply try to erase certain panel lines, that you think is too thick with the eraser and you can get a more dirty Valk that way too In any case the 0,5 pencil and eraser thing is a safe way of doing panel lines and giving it a dirty effect, and if you mess up then you can always wash it off with some warm water with soap. Hope this helps. -Jin

  21. Hey guys, thanks for the help. The reason why im asking is that my GF is in the Phillipines for the moment, and i want her to get me a few of those HUGE Gundams ive seen some members in here have. Since i dont have any modeling skills, i was hoping that those "big ones" are the so-called snap-ons with alot of articulation (from what i could understand from (gundamofficial.com Skill level 4) Anyways i just need to ask you, is this kit one of the big bad ones with lots of articulation uh huh me wants a Big Bad Huge Detailed Gundam with snap ons, is this one of those? -Jin
  22. Hey All I hope you can all shed some light on this question. Ive been wondering about this thing since i meet my GF who is introduced me to Gundam. Ive been looking at several pictures and websites and finally today www.toy-wave.com and i really cant make any sense of it. What are the differences between these different kits? Are they models or toys? MG (Master Grade) HGUG HG PG (Perfect Grade) Ms In Action Fix Gundam SD Gundam (Super Deformed) MSIA Also are these kits the same as the ones on the american Gundam Site "Gundam Official" are those and these the same "snap on kits"? Hope you can help. -Jin
  23. Also FYI some members in MW have already done some customising on the Yamato 1/60 Valks in JetFire color. I think a few others are secretly planning in doing a custom work on the 1/48 scale Valks. Its just a matter of time when that will happen. If you ask me....the best line to collect Valkyries in, is the 1/48 line. Since its the most detailed and best transforming toy to date that can live up to the Macross VFs. -Jin
  24. Hey MJRusso45 I belive its 1/55, the same scale as the original Takatoku´s Valks released back in the 80s. Bandai also re-released the same models in 1/55 in the 90s. Please correct me guys if i am off track on the information i posted. -Jin
  25. OH MY GOD!....you MUST see Macross Zero ASAP!!! If your missing some of the best combat/Dogtfighting scenes ever, in the same caliber as SDF-1 Macross and Macross Plus. So if you got the cash to burn...then get it now. Just my two cents. -Jin
