What are you talking about, there where several metal parts in that kit. Most of them where part of the internal skeleton. They had to be metal becuase the thing had to have some sort of good support to keep it all togeather. also the feathers that attach to the wings where all metal as well. Also not to mention the wiring for the lights in the head and chest. Great kit by the way, I will get around to building it some day.

I love Robotech, please don't shoot me, but you guys are right. That is insane. I'm not going to spend another 250 bucks just for a few more seconds of footage. I'm suprised they haven't tryed to re-release clash of the Battoliods several times, with a few more seconds of footage or added bonous features that are slightly different on each DVD. How many times do people accually look at the special features on their DVD's? Honestly. And companies wonder why people would rather pirate their over priced movies than buy them. Oh an additional note, why hasn't someone tried to blow up HG yet. I'm with you, get the TNT and I'll get the marshmellows.

Wait a minute, what about this. I think it was in this area where someone asked why BW is going off the DYRL sotry. What if the reason they are doing that is so they can try to work around HG owning the rights to SDF. If they go off DYRL, that means different animation, so they dont need to say anything to HG. What does everyone think, or am i just high?

Can't we just blow up HG and then that would solve the problem. I mean they deserve it for making the Shaka Zulu movie anyway. Man that was a horrable movie.

Man, how did I miss this thread. How long will you be making these kits? I really want one, but I need to save up the cash. Also what are the dementions when completed? I am sure it will be huge, but thinking about shipping cost. Man, my wife is going to kill me for wanting to get one of these.

I will have to try that. I also have some squadron putty on hand. I found it a little too tough to sand off, so i switched to Tamiya Putty. That is probably the reason why I had such a hard time.

Ok, I am having some trouble with my Tamiya Putty and my Hasegawa Valks. I cant seem to apply the putty very thinly to the model seams. I can sand the access off, but then the surrounding pannel lines are filled with putty. Does anyone have an good ways to apply putty to a seam, or to get putty out of those damn hasegawa valk pannel lines? Thanks.

B-Club does sell individual articulated hands for gundam models. He may have used a set of those. I am sure he had to modify them somewhat at least to get the right shape.

It just depends upon how much people want to sell them for. I would love to have one of the yamoto's. I assume the older ones are the one that you have to take the legs off of, am i right?

If someone gets one of these and wants to sell they Valk, I would be willing to buy one from them if they sell it at a reasonable price.

Im not sure if this is what you are wanting, but if you if you look in the Palladium Robotech RDF Accelerated Training Program RPG Book (I know I said the R******* word, sorry) it has a detailed deck by deck layout of the Promethius (not spelled right, i dont think). Its not very detailed but it gives a general idea of the deck layout. If you are interested, I can scan it for you. All you need to do is let me know. Hope this helps.

Hey, i bought a 1/72 Regult Battlepod about 4 months ago. The only problem is that there was not instruction manual. I was wondering if anyone had one they could scan for me or knew of where to find scans of it. I have started assembling it and I am ending up with left over parts. Please help if anyone can.

That one pic is a scratch build kit. It says sukuracchi, or scratch in the title.

Hobby Link Japan had a pic of of what was i think the box from one of the conventions they went too. (I think it was wonderfestival, but not sure) I dont think that the pic is still up anywhere, but I am sure that I saw it. It was the one when they showed the Strike Valk from Hasegawa and said that it was the last from the original Macross Series they where making for awhile.

Yeah they are right, the first part is in Katakana. it says dekarru or decal. It's hard to read, but from what i can make out, it looks like "Please apply decal." I am still learning NiHonGo, so if I am wrong please don't get to angry with me.

Why is it that model companies never make any new models out of the different types of mecha in Macross. Now im talking about injection models, not resin ones. Would it be that hard for Hasegawa to make a destroid model, or a Regult Battle pod? They are doing great things for the Valks, but there is more to the series than just transformng planes. If they are so committed to making Valk models, then why don't they make the best design that has been made for the Valks. They went ahead and made the Minmei Guard (Which was in Model Graphix), why can't they make the Armored Valk that was also in Model Graphix? Either they feel there is no money in it, or they can't get the rights for the designs somehow. Does anyone know why things are this way?
