  1. Nope, Nuker of Gay, Unborn space whales is a regular rank for when you have between about 7,000 and 8,000 posts (not sure exactly when it roles over). After that you get Macross 7 survivor and beyond that I'm not sure since they're only like 5 people with post counts that high and I think all of them have custom titles.
  2. So it's a Vulcan with a Lower ROF and a big spinning faux barrel assembly around the actual barrel so it will eat through batteries even faster? sweet. and that dude is still creepy as hell.
  3. Leader bumblebee isn't a bad toy per say, it's just that the figure itself isn't a significant improvement over some of the deluxe bee's out there that cost 1/3 the price. Pretty much all the extra money is for the toy to be bigger and to have a giant backpack full of electronics. The problem with leader Ironhide is that it has a very simplistic transformation, poor articulation, and a lot of obtrusive kibble on the arms and back in order to accommodate a large number of electronics and action features. It's really not good leader class figure and is much more in line with an Ultimate class figure like RotF ultimate bumblebee (i.e. being a large figure built entirely around supporting lots of gimmicks). Unfortunately, if you want another Leader figure like Sentinel Prime you're going to have to go hunting for either a Leader Starscream, or some version of the RotF leader Optimus.
  4. Not really. the first one was just a strait horror movie with a low budget and the second was more of a Dark comedy than an strait parody. Army of Darkness was arguably a Parody movie, but of the fantasy Genre rather than horror movies.
  5. I haven't actually watched any "Anime" in months, but I just finished watching season 1 of My little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I'm not sure if that counts.
  6. I haven't seen it but reading the waikipedia article on it the plot sounds absolutely moronic.
  7. It's because flopped paint apps are a manufacturing problem, loose ball jointed ankles are a user competency problem.
  8. See, more proof Luke Skywalker is pure evil. The dude was just trying to eat his lunch in peace and f*cking Skywalker cuts his arm off for NO REASON!
  9. And the late L. Ron Hubbard constantly warned about the evils of Psychiatry; I fail to see your point. :edit: And everyone knows comets are giant snowflake-like clusters of ice crystals and are frequently full of navigable caves. Haven't you ever been on star tours?
  10. here you go.
  11. The more I look at this the more certain I am that one breast is hanging slightly lower than the other.
  12. naw, they're so friendly. don't you just want to give them a hug?
  13. except that it also suddenly has a nose and mouth
  14. Basra's VF-19P gets Jizzed on by the space whale. 40 seconds in he the robot does something to it's own face with it's hand and suddenly the VF-19P has a VF-19Kai head. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJUPvERKOuY
  15. agree on all points. It's not a brilliant movie, but it was incredibly fun. The acting and special effects totally sold it and I had a great time watching it. I really want a video game based on this now though. A Cowboys and Aliens themed DLC for Red Dead Redemption would be the greatest thing ever.
  16. No, it's based of the short story "steel" by Richard Matheson (I am Legend, The Shrinking Man, What Dreams May Come, etc.) People just make fun of it as being Rock-em Sock-em Robots the movie because that's what it looks like.
  17. So I went to TRU yesterday looking for a Leader Sentinel Prime. I ended up not finding one there (which was odd considering they had 3 of them less than a week ago), I did happen to find this guy just lying around next to about 4 full pegs of early wave RotF deluxes.
  18. It's exactly the same thing that happened with animated. They don't want two of their toy lines competing against each other for shelf space so they're pushing back the cartoon so the movie line can finish it's run.
  19. Tony Stein's stinger wants to tell you about how southern cross sucks.
  20. Damn, we totally have one of these suckers in our house somewhere! when I was like 5 I used to sit in front of it and pretend it was some sort of old timey WWII radio or something. lol, I wonder if it still works?
  21. armada/energon/cybertron where crap but RiD was awesome. The show was funnier and better animated than Armada and the toys where actually fun and poseable. Personally I want an updated RiD Megatron/Galvitron with a more articulated fist mode.
  22. It's like 50% Transformers: I'm on a Boat and 50% Crysis. Looks fun but I don't know I want to pay to see it.
  23. given that it says HDP resin on the advert that probably means unpainted, unassembled kit given Yamato's track record. and if they're going to mold it color they'd probably use the same tan as the tomahawk since that matches the official colors closest. Also they can't really do a weathering version on an unpainted kit can they.
  24. first off; the fact that a mass retail kids toy that was part of a popular, concurrently airing TV shows toy line cost you ten bucks seventeen years ago has zero barring on how much it would cost to design and produce a Destroid today. Further, even if the the Yamato's destroids where significantly less expensive to design than the VF-1, that still only represents a fraction of what it costs to actually produce the toy. The tooling, raw materials and labor required to produce the finished, packaged toy are all very expensive and represent a big chunk of what the toys final price is. The destroids may seem simple because they don't transform but they don't have drastically fewer parts, less material or fewer paint apps than a basic VF-1 toy. That means they require a similar number of molds, similar quantities of plastic and similar number of man hours to produce each toy. So even if they did save a HUGE amount on the development end it still cost about the same amount on the production end. And most importantly, the destroids may have had lower fixed cost (Design, tooling, etc.) but they also had far fewer units to spread the cost out over. They made all of 2 destroids in 2 color schemes compared to the Dozens of VF-1's they've churned out over the last couple years.
