  1. I'm gonna chime in on a few thoughts... I do give the movie it's credits for pulling off a good balance act with some many character involved. None of them felt short changed or left out. The movie is very straight forward, no twist or surprises. On one had it is good they didn't try anything that could be stupid, but on the other hand it offered nothing to make it go above and beyond a good solid comic book movie. Black Widow's character and background got the most benefit of of this movie. She was fleshed out into a real character. Loki was handled much better as a character than he was in Thor. Captain America was also handled better. Tony Stark's character is far more restrained than he was in Iron Man 2. Which is a good thing. Samuel L Jackson actually acted instead of doing his usual shtick. To my surprise, the movie took itself very seriously, almost too seriously. The last 1/3 of the movie is where I felt I got my money's worth. The first 2/3... not so much. The Cosmic cube after 2 movies is still not addressed by it's official name and still not used to it's full potential as one of the most powerful objects in the Marvel Universe that can warp reality and space. (this is where I have a lot of trouble since this aspect can be fixed so easily) The glowing jewel on Loki's staff... is that an Infinity Gem? (Mind gem? Soul gem?) The aliens turned out to be just generic jet ski aliens. Nothing special. Was really expecting the Red Skull to pop up, but that didn't happen.
  2. Thanks for all the comments on this book so far. I worked on it for 4 years in the dark and it is very interesting to see how people reacts to the initial idea/concept of it now that it is finally out in the public. Personally I would very much like to hear feedbacks on the story, characters, designs and so on, so we can do better to correct or improve on future releases. The American comic industry has been on the down hill slide for the past 10 years and it really is difficult to be a small press publisher in the current climate. With this project, I am trying to produce something that has the ability to cross over into China's market which has the potential to be more profitable, while at the same time still bringing something new to the table of American super hero genre. Of course with that said, I am only getting 70 cents per book sold in terms of profit through Amazon, and whether this can be a financial success or not is determined to be seen. Currently we are working to get it into the itune store and on android, and maybe that will help broaden the exposure even more. Book two is already in production and will probably be out in another couple of month.
  3. I originally planned on launching Captain China in both English & Chinese language simultaneously but Amazon gave me some trouble accepting it due to the fact the Kindle cannot display Chinese text. We just resolved the problem by combining it with the English version and it is now available for download in the same Kindle file. The amazon listing is also updated with 6 pages of preview for both languages. And here is the Chinese Simplified language cover! The Chinese version is presented after the English version. Once again for those who do not own a Kindle or any other digital readers, you may download either "Kindle Reading App" or "MobiPocket Reader" for FREE to view the book after purchase from Amazon. 4. Thank you very much for the kind words! Thank you. Thanks Dude! Thanks, I'll keep the suggestion in mind.
  5. Thanks, I hope so too! I would say they are as much of a communism as we are of being a democracy. Yeah, really is a shame he died so young and at his prime. Thank you very much! Wink! Wink! I would absolutely love to have that crossover happen. But who knows, anything is possible in the comic industry these days. A lot of research was put into this project to make sure there is a degree of historical accuracy within the context of the story.
  6. LOL. Not anymore. It is now a real comic book. And he will be speaking Mandarin because a Chinese Language version is up for release soon! A little bit of both I would say. The first 6 pages are available for preview on Amazon. http://www.amazon.co.../dp/B007X0G3H4/
  7. You still do much better work than I WM! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you very much! No noise filter. Just didn't have enough light when I shot the photos. that's why they came out a bit grainy.

  9. Thanks you. The kits is painted with airbrush, and the detailing are done with hand brushing. It is a fairly straightforward out-of-the-box build. The hardest part is actually masking off all the individual areas for color separation. Thank you! Thanks! Thanks! Out of all the Hasegawa Macross kits I've built (YF-19, YF-21, SV-51), this is the easiest one to build. Simple construction, parts fitting are very good, and many parts can be painted before assembly. But the plastic used is a softer plastic when compared to previous releases so there is actually problems of parts slightly warping and difficulty in sanding. Also, the connection of the lower legs and the arms to the fuselage is a bid odd. This can easily misalign the parts if not enough attention is given.
  10. Kinda difficult to photograph it now that the tail fins are on. There's also not much to see.
  11. Here is my latest completed work. Hasegawa's 1/72 VF-11B Thunderbolt from Macross Plus. Cockpit Detail: And with this kit finished, I have finally completed my Macross Plus collection!
  12. Photos are old, the table is much more cluttered now! And there's more stuff in the case too!

  20. MMD Drama- "Mの誘惑-Temptation of M" by 腰つきP(koshitsukiP). Debuted during MMD Cup 4 and sets the bar for all MMD dramas to come. Over the top insanity packed with classic Rumiko Takahashi style humor. The video is so famous that it even got a pretty decent English fan dub version!
