  1. So I wanna tighten up my 1/60 VF-0S limbs, mainly the arms. But I don't know how to go about this without accidently breaking the thing. I tried pulling the arms off the ball joints but they didn't seem to budge. So what's the best way to tackle this?
  2. Why not try their website? http://www.geocities.com/takatoysperu/Taka...ss_sticker.html
  3. Well if it doesn't include the stand then how can you display it in Full-Burst mode?
  4. From what I've heard, the full burst version has gold chromed pieces whereas the regular kit isn't chromed. And hot damn I want that so bad now...
  5. Are there any pics of the gold plated joint version vs the standard version? I wanna see if it looks good enough to dish out the extra cash for it.
  6. So what's yours? I'm thinking of getting one sometime in the future and I'm leaning to the black. What do you guys like?
  7. As the title states, how do you panel line your Valks? Personally I don't have the courage to panel line mine; they're not even stickered. The fact that the BP8 on my 1/48 Hikaru 1J is broken and repaired and the cost of the 1/48 Max 1J is also a detractor. If I ever panel lined one (most likely Roy 1S) then I know I'd have to do them all or it'd bug the hell outta me. But if I did, then I was just thinking of using my Gundam Marker then wiping off the excess. But doing it on white plastic might leave streaks. So how do you guys do it?
  8. Damn that looks awesome. I just don't have the courage to panel line and sticker up my Valks like a lot of folks do. Just out of curiosity, how do most of you guys panel line your Valks? If I ever got the courage to do it I was thinking just using a Gundam marker and wiping off the excess. But since it's on white plastic it might leave streaks. And Kakizaki, did you use Yamato stickers or Takatoys?
  9. The colour of this figure seems pretty dependant on the lighting. He looks really stunning in HLJs new pictures IMO (Top half only, bottom half is stock photos). I also want a picture of him next to a 1/48 VF-1 and 1/60 VF-0! A translated scan from a couple days ago says he's 1/60 scale but someone over at TFW2005 couldn't find any indication on the packaging or booklet. Perhaps you could take a measurement and someone could figure out the scale? http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=6528
  10. I think you kinda missed his point though. How many people do you think just walk in the store, notice the Valkyries looking all nicely presented, but with no prior knowledge of Macross and just decides to plunk down $150 for the Valkyrie?
  11. I think the Revoltech Convoy has more of a manga appearance (go look at the various G1 manga scans at TFArchive) than Pat Lee. Although I see the resemblence to Pat Lee. I'm not a big fan of Pat Lee's art but I like the Megatron poster he did (I think he did that one..).
  12. They picked probably the worst stock photo of Starscreams bot mode to put on the packaging. Especially since it photoshops the hip pieces. But I still can't wait to get 'im.
  13. Well it wasn't in the show or movie therefore it doesn't really matter if it's a 1J with DYRL? armor.
  14. Here's a review of the 1:12 scale Ford GT Roadbot. http://www.agesthreeandupforum.com/Forum/viewtopic.php?t=878
  15. I'm pretty damn sure I just want Hot Rod. I really think that people should just get over the stupid little figures. You could just do what I do and keep the little anime girl in the box and chuck it behind the huge pile of boxes. Or take it to the extreme and burn it, whatever floats your boat. Hot Rod just looks really awesome and Mirage needs a mold buddy.
  16. I got a Kiss Players Convoy recently. The fully painted plastic panels looks great. I really like the colour scheme of this version more than the Alternators. Also the crotch plate is painted which looked way cheap on the Alternator. Although it still hides the thighs so I haven't decided to keep it up or down yet. Can't wait for Kiss Hot Rod.
  17. My 1J is a 2nd edition, bought MISB from a collectors store in person, not over the internet. I examined the 1Js in the front so I got the best of the bunch and never noticed different shades of plastic betweem them. Non-smoker, kept away from a window. It's never been in direct sunlight for anymore than a couple minutes (I took outdoor photos once and even then the pictures were taken in a shaded balcony). My Roy 1S, Hikaru 1J and Max 1J all seem to have different shades of white. The Max 1J was also bought from a collectors store, box was beat up but the figure inside was still untouched, gunpod/strap and nosecone wrapping were still on. Here's a picture of the three, not the best camera but I think it illustrates my point. Also a picture of just the two 1Js together.
  18. I knew about Roy's 1S being from DYRL? and Hikaru's 1J being from the TV series. But I guess I never noticed the difference in colour when I watched the series and the movie. The white on my Max 1J is closer to the colour of the Roy 1S, I take it that it's like that in the TV series as well?
  19. Any packaging differences? Which has the floppier joints?
  20. Can someone explain to me all the differences in the production runs and 1st and 2nd editions without going all "ZOMG NOOB!"? Thanks.
  21. Forgive me if this has been explained before but is it just mine or are others Hikaru 1Js different plastic colour as well? The picture attachment shows the difference in colour. If it's not normal then I don't think it could've been caused by sunlight or anything since it's the whole thing not just parts of it (except the heat shield because that's painted).
  22. Woah, in that thread the scan of the Strike + IWSP shows an animated screen cap with the Strike holding the Grand Slam sword. What's that from?
  23. That's not what MP-03, MP-04 and all the upcoming Kiss Players figures say. IIRC Takara is taking a break from mainline TFs until after the movie.
  24. Captain Global's Angels! Featuring the newest addition to the team, VF-1J Max. I love it so much.
