The game will only be available from Matrix Games / Tri Synergy in North America (United States, Canada, Mexico and any U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam etc.). Oh man this thread is bringing back some memories. I used to work at Microprose in QA and XCOM was my very first project. Mr first day was working on a sound issue with the GUS (Gravis Ultra-Sound) and it was the last patch for XCOM. I was then moved to the TFTD team and that was just an awesome time.

I got the XBOX demo disk and I give the demo 5/10. Pros: Cyclones!!!!! Models look good the Blue Invid warrior with those laser beams (as opposed to the "skittles of death" that the regular invid use) is a cool effect Cons: Music is Techno..sux Sound Efx: Lame. As said above the backround sounds are muffled and run together, does not sound mixed properly The playable gun is machine gun...gimme a break can't fire missles while on foot, only from cycle mode AI seems to non-existant in the demo waaay too short of a level grenades useless, the machine gun is good enough

I think it rocks!! Especially if you have big Screen tv and a nice stereo. The sounds are really good and the grfx are excellent. The controls area bit cumbersome, but if you have done any simming, you should have no problem. It's the closest you can get to being inside a mech...I think. Mr Frosty

Cool!! More sim pilots!! I have a TM cougar and I would kill to keep it. I also have Stell Battalion for XBOX and that's the closest I have been to working a mech!! Mr Frosty Check Six!

I noticed some people here commenting on the series Yukikaze. I have been trying to locate it, but can't seem to find it. Can someone point me to a vendor, store, online store that has this for sale? Or is only on TV in Japan or something? Mr Frosty

I have a couple of questions about ROTK that know one seems to be able to answer, so I thought you guys could help me out or point me to a forum where I can find the answer: 1. Why was Sauron killed when the ring was destroyed? I know he would become all powerfull if he got it, but die when it was destroyed? 2. Why Did Frodo go with the elves at the end? Will he live forever or something? 3. why did the orcs run away at the end. I understand that Sauron died, but why did they flee...were they under some sort of spell? Thanks
