Ah, nice. I'm doing well, working on my own website and all... still hosting M3 and all.
You may find this helpful, my breakdown of all VFs by generation:
Sweet; this should come in handy deciphering the long list of everything I've been hearing about.

I use Japanese Wikipedia which translates when using Chrome. You can find what you are looking for in "Appearance Mechanism" under each series page.

It's as complete as I've been able to make it up to Macross Delta.
Off the top of my head, the only things that are missing are the stuff from Macross II, as well as that combiner enemy mecha from the Macross M3 video game.
Thanks man; greatly appreciate.

... woah, now there's a name I haven't seen in a long time. How you doin'?
As for your question, the Macross Compendium Wiki is probably as close as you'll get in English right now... I don't think anyone has a complete listing, partly bceause some stuff doesn't actually have names and partly because definitions of "complete" vary a bit depending on whether one wants to count material outside the official setting like Master File.
Not too bad; as usual ups and downs over the last few years; been plugging away at my Pen and Paper RPG that I've been creating and close to being done.
How have you been doing?
Anything even close would be great; thank you much appreciated

Sorry; quick question guys; I've been trying to find a site with a complete or at least comprehensive list of VFs, Mecha, ships, etc for a few weeks now and can't seem to find one; is there one and if so it would be greatly appreciated if someone could point me in that direction.
I assume since this is a one and done answer I've posted in the right spot (haven't been here in awhile) As always if this the wrong thread; let me know and I'll move this to a different one; thanks.

Hopefully the right thread to post a quick question; anyone know where I can find Macross Delta Art Books or have ISBN numbers for them?
-
Sorry to bump this topic again but I figured it would be easier to just use this thread than open a new one, does anyone know if there has every been any line art books for any of the MUV-LUV stuff.
-
Not a problem and thanks for all the help.

This one?

Best pic I can find on the web.
Yes that would be it, does anyone remember the name of the ship itself, I can't find my 707 disc.
And thank you for the replies.

Does anybody have or know where I can find line art [or a really good screen cap] to the huge, gargantuan, titanic, aircraft carrier/command ship used by the UN forces and was almost destroyed at the beginning of the show.

And here I was beginning to think I was the only one in Ohio.

Hi I'm new here
Although I watched the Robotech tv series when I was a kid back in 1986, it was only recently I got to see Macross DYRL.
My question is about Roy's Valkerie, when he died in DYRL.
So, the Zentraedi dude drops down in his mobile battle suit and kicks the VF's head to pulp : Ok, from that height, I can understand that.
Minutes later the Zentraedi's exited his battle suit and basically punches right through the VF's chest plating, then rips it off
Are the VF's that weak ? If we were to compare it to human sizes, it would mean a strong man would be able to punch through an equally sized VF
even more easy, than through a tin can !? I mean...respectively, the VF's chest would be weaker than the backside of my Dell laptop it's screen panel.
I'm not sure, it seems as such a plothole/discrepancy, when you see Max ripping through a Zentraedi's jugular right through it's battle pod, in an earlier scene ; that would imply that the VF's outer shell is stronger....
Contradiction maybe ?
Probably a little bit of anime magic vs. coolness factor vs. plot hole, considering the Zentraedi were bred to be warriors I'd say that they would be stronger than a normal human that has been macronized.

Didn't the Destroid Monster appear in Zero? Because that's what
fired reaction warheads at AFOS in episode 5
, but the SDF Macross article on it only lists as appearing in SDFM, DYRL, and Plus.
Edited because I just realized Vostok said he hasn't seen the whole thing.
The one seen in M0 is the Mk-I, not Mk-II, and what with March Seperating them by models it won't list it as being M0.

INTJ.
So where should we start with taking over the world?

I don't know when it happened, but I noticed that the macross compendium no longer has pictures.
I'm looking for images/pics/schematics/names/specs of any/all vehicles in the macross universe that closely resemble (or could be used as) a troop carrier.
If you are talking about APC's
http://www.new-un-spacy.com/sdfmacross/apc.htm - From SDF Macross
There was also one in M7 used by the NM5 personnel shown briefly but I can't find my picture of it.

/m/ at 4 chan ?
Hmm, thanks never thought of that.

Hey if any body can help me find some good web sites that have various line art of gadgets, gizmos, and equipment from various sci-fi-ish anime [or any stuff that might be interesting], I'd really appreciate it.
I've tried the various search engines and they kind of fail on this topic.
Thanks.

Wasn't Haruna the CLASS of ships that was used in M3? The Algencius or whatever it was that Max & Miria were assigned to was a Haruna-class ship.
Mark
I've never seen it stated anywhere but it may be a sub-class of the Haruna, similar to the Uraga and Saratoga II being very similar.
-
No the Haruna was a ship in the macross games. It was a missile boat or something like that. but it did have Stealth technology.
No the Haruna wasn't in any of the games, you're probably thinking of the untamed/whatever else they called it.
-
The Maizuru-Class would be the only truly "NEW" ship in the fleet. That must be the big grey fella with all the cannon turrets; the one that got "blowed up" by the Vajra in episode 1. The other ships are just variants (with a few new features/altered colors) of the UN ships we've seen in Macross Plus and Macross 7:
Bolognese Class Stealth Frigate
Isn't Maizuru the name of one of the Guantanamo's.
-
The katakana just says Stealth Cruiser
Haruna maybe?
-
The new yellow/green ship is a refit of the Bolognese Class Stealth Frigate. Same basic shape and features, just updated a bit and given a new color scheme. The other ones aren't ARMDs but Guantanamo Class Stealth Carriers. They've also been given a bit of a CG update and painted green. What the heck is a "Northampton Class"? Also, I think you meant the "Destroid Work" appears based on the Destroid Cheyenne and I agree, it looks very similar to the Destroid in Macross Zero. Same design motif.
Northampton may or many not be another variant of the Bolognese.

Just curious what people's thoughts are; does each main fleet have a factory of each type [I.E. battlepod, officer pod, power armor] or does a single factory of a single type equip every fleet?
