About the only complaint I hate: The "No Step" stickers on the wing...

Honestly, it's not Toynami's fault (Result of having pre-cut stickers,) but man, it just looks weird.

If I feel so apt, I might pick up a set of water slide decals, if someone makes a set for the Shadow. That'll look nice.

Put stickers on my Shadow today. No pics (yet). Definitely great "low-viz" type stickers that don't distract from the "stealth" of the toy... and (as with my greens), much improve the quality.

Toynami's retarded for taking "plain" pics, much less putting those on the box and what not.

God willing, I'll have my new job tomorrow, and I'll pick up this one, a Monster, and a Wheeljack alternator off Ebay (can't find the damn thing here, or back in Gainesville.)

those things make my skin crawl. I think thats too easy for an alt considering the boxy shape, I guess Kup would be good for that car also,,,Iron hide I thinks would look good as a Jeep Grand Cherokee (2005)

I think most of us were trying to avoid comments on the xB... mainly because it's darn ugly!! I think that even an Honda Element would be better for ironhide... and i hate that car too! Some sort of van should have been the pick. I looked at the pics for the BT xB and it looks pretty ridiculous with a huge chest and skinny legs...

How common is Wheeljack around North America? I've recently found Shockblast, but not sign of the second Mustang.

well i haven't stickered up any of mine and they look like crap. the pics i've seen with stickers applied make the alphas look like 1000 times better.

Yea, exactly. Hell, even if it's not precisely accurate to have markings on a stealth, well, we are dealing with transforming robots. Aesthetics are really about all that matters considering realism was long ago out the window.

Even if it didn't have markings, I think there are some basic details that are on the stickers.... could be wrong tho.

Some of the pictures of the drone show "REF" Markings on the legs, as well as other small details. Of course, said pictures are from the RPG (and I cannot locate any TV-series sourced images of the Shadow.)

These, of course, are in the same light grey as its shoulders and whatnot.

I guess.. in the toy's defense..

Its torso hasn't been extended, and stickers REALLY spiced up my blue and green Alphas.

Alternators are not G1. I know people can't get over this but it's about what car company gives has/tak the license and what the toy company can do with that. (Iron hide was a fricken min-van for god sakes!) Quit getting caught up on names and enjoy the toys people.

I'll admit, choice of car's what got me. The xB just makes me skin crawl.

The Bismarck was sunk by bi-planes of WW1 whereas the Yamato was sunk by advanced designed US Naval aircraft in the late days of WW2.

Just to note:

The Bismarck wasn't sunk by aricraft. It was sunk by naval gunfire. The aircraft only disabled its steering (which is obviously important, but not quite the same as sinking it).

And those aircraft weren't WWI, they were interwar designed Swordfishes. Just because it is a biplane doesn't mean it is WWI. The Swordfish is much better than any WWI bomber.

Oh yeah. my bad. The rudder was stuck because of the torpedo. I thought the swordfishes was used in WW1... hmmm maybe a WW1 design then.

I thought it was torpedos off destroyers that sunk her finaly.

Actually, what took the ship out is really left to debate. The Germans claimed they scuttled her, though, really, at that point, the effect of opening her hull up at that point may have been a little redundant.

Edit: IIRC, The Yamato exploded quite magnificently, if I'm recalling my history properly... hence, the obscene damage. It really is a pity, though, she was a fine looking ship (though, the Iowas were my favorite of the period.)

Obi-One was knocked out in minutes fighting Count Dooku, but was able to beat Anakin who were able beat Count Duku on his own?

I can only explain it as Obi and Anakin being quite even at the last fight. It was Anakin's overconfidence that cause him to lose (i.e. attacking with his fancy jump from low ground in order to prove Obi's 'don't do it!' wrong).

As for him smacking Dooku, its quite possible that Palps was f*cking around in the background like a good Sith should.

The novel was very thorough with that explaination...

Dooku was holding back... Palpatine told him to lose, and that he'd provide him with amnesty... If he had been at the top of his game, Anakin may have very well lost another arm.

Didn't work out.

The dialogue, especially early in the film, was quite excellent for Star Wars...

You know, if anything was redone in thr original trilogy, I'd love to see the Battle of Endor's space component redone to match what was available in the novel. The Executor wasn't taken out be one measly little A-wing going *SMASH* into the conning tower..... SOB was blasted to hell by the combined power of the Alliance fleet.

I tried to make this as hard to read as possible, for those of you who don't want to be spoiled on the movie...

Anyhow, my guess is that it will cover the flight of a group of Jedi, as well as the heyday of the Empire (assuming the above is true.)

I'm REALLY skeptical, though. Lucas on TV... has never been good.
