  1. I would not be surprised to learn that it's some other, new character, like this

    pianist

    that I keep hearing about.

The legends of the twelve colonies speak of the fall of Kobol and the one god who tempted man to rebel, right? There's obviously some connection to the cylons models and these gods. I wonder if the final Cylon could be this individual, or somehow related to them.

  2. I'll be that other guy. I hated it.

The movie even had it own version of Ewoks: little swinging monkeys. Does EVERYTHING Lucas touches have to be throttled with the cute?

Oh, and the nuke explosion... why? Marion felt like an afterthought. Hell, everything minus the Magic Crystal alien skeletons seemed that way.

  3. Man, she makes me look whiter than I am...

This is why I hate being an engineer. I live in Florida. I used to be tan. I'm turkish. It's embarrassing.

Thank God for weekends. This was taken on my 25th, about oh, last week. I was SO close to being a Valentine's baby.... dodged that one.

  4. I actually like the new CTS-V, Cadillac has steered itself into a very good direction in the past decade, and i hope it continues on this path. For a long time it was on par with Lincoln, but has since elevated their status back up with the German standard.

Have you seen the new Malibu? C&D placed it JUST behind the Accord and new Altima, (ahead of Camry, etc...) and Motortrend had it second in the COTY awards. I've driven one, and while it's not my cup of tea (I'm a pony car guy,) the interior's nice, little noise in the I4, decent power, and is attractive, for a family car. My only real complaint is the four speed auto, but that's gone come the end of this year.

Compacts, yeah, I don't know what Chevy's thinking, and Ford's Focus is nice looking, but HORRIBLY underpowered.

  5. I enjoyed it, but I also don't suffer from motion sickness at all.

I still think the scaries part was

rescuing that chick from the building. The camera angle, due to gravity, really bothered me. Keep in mind, I REALLY don't like skyscrapers.

    Overall, enjoyable, though.

On a side note, my friend wanted me to see Meet the Spartans with her. I'm glad she paid. God.

  6. I've finally moved on from the wonderful world of higher education and have a job. (Still, GO GATORS!)

Alas, I've missed the boat with a lot of the preorders, but if ANYONE has/knows where I can get my hands on one, I'd be extremely grateful if they'd let me know.

    Thanks.

  7. I have not been using the plasmids that much. Telekenisis yes, it's about the only one I've found to be useful to my play style. Outside of using the electricity one to shock multiple targets in water or shock a gun turret or robot so I can run up and hack them or using the fire one to get into the blocked areas I've mostly been relying on my firearms to get me by.

My tactics are to go slow and careful, usually using the pistol as my primary weapon. I go slow so I can listen for sounds of the baddies... on my stereo system this game is really good at letting you pinpoint the locations of baddies before you even see them if you have keen ears. It makes planning my attacks a lot easier. I usually have one good headshot on a target before it even knows I'm there. I also generally hack everything I come across no matter what it is to get the health bonus from the hacker add on thing. That actually saved my ass in the Big Daddy fight as he walked right in front of one of the gun turrets I hacked and it lit him up, he turned to beat on it and that gave me a nice open spot to spray him with my Thompson right in his back.

Playing as slow and deliberate as I do I finally got to and beat the first "boss" and the first Big Daddy last night and I made it to Neptune's Bounty before stopping for the night.

And is it just me or is this game a little fast and loose with the achievements? I've barely made it to stage three (or at least I think it's stage three) and I've already chalked up like ten achievements.

Yeah, and the "hard" setting's a bit easy. I haven't had much use for the telekinesis power, but I'm playing with it now. Alas, my sound system doesn't really give me much to play with when it comes to finding the location of a splicer... need to remedy that.

  8. Have you picked up the Plasmid "Inferno?" It makes the game a lot easier, I think... torch 'em and hide.

Also, if you can, equip the cloaking plasmid. When you're still, no one sees you, and it helps with those annoying drones when/if you set off an alarm. don't recall what it was called. I finished the game today (was sick, so I had nothing better to to the last two days) and enjoyed the hell out of it.

  9. Sorry to hear that, but wich one is you?  :)

I have a picture of me at my website. I'd post it here, but that would deprive you to the pleasure of visiting my site  ;)

Edit: The guy in my avatar is a self portrait  :p

HAHA, well, I'm the not so blonde one. The girl's one of my best friends at school.

Yeh, it sucked, though was really my fault for doing too much weight on a military press without a spot. Oh yeh, I guess I can call it less back surgery, more shoulder, though, the scar's on the same area.

  10. hey, how come none of yous peeps are taking pics next to your most beloved action figure?

    Self respect?

    403494[/snapback]

    HAHAHA.... anyway...

Here's an older picture of me.. scrubby, pale, and after five months of muscle atrophy...

    Back surgery SUCKS
