According to our tipster, the higher-ups at Fox are not too impressed the footage that has been shot thus far, and are seriously debating shutting the whole thing down. Now I have no idea if this is a real possibility or if the studio is just putting pressure on director James Wong to deliver, but the movie supposedly has a budget of over $100 million and I can understand them wanting to cut some losses while they still can. The thing is, if this is all true, it only makes me that much more interested to see the movie. If it it’s strange enough to scare the suits, it’s gotta be good, right? Are you looking forward to Dragonball? It looks like there is still hope for the live action movie after all. Contrary to our own report from last week about the possible cancellation of the project, the official Dragonball: The Movie blog says 20th Century Fox has confirmed that the movie is still on track for an April 2009 release. On top of that, someone at Superheroflix has a source close to the movie who says the movie is looking quite good and definitely not in danger of being shut down: “Our studio contact, who we aren’t allowed to name at the moment, worked on the production, and has seen the completed movie. Everyone involved seems to think they have a hit on their hands, and he even went on to say that it was ‘pretty darn awesome. There is certainly talk about a sequel. I have no doubt that it will happen. I’m sure that it will be a trilogy.’” All I can say is that I am glad to hear it, because I want to see this movie! I should say, however, that I still believe our own source to be valid and trustworthy. Although we throw up some funny rumours from time to time for the sake of entertainment, I wouldn’t have broken this particular story if I didn’t think there was at least some truth to it. The situation may very well have changed now, but it’s not crazy to think that there were (and still are) concerns over the look and feel of this movie. Whether or not they would actually consider dropping the entire film is another matter entirely. Either way I am eagerly anticipating the first trailer or hint of footage from the flick.

A news in my local newspaper says this movie would be cancelled due to the poor filming... Good news to those who hate the idea of remake; bad news to me.

I only have time to make reading till page 8, so pls pardon me if anyone had mentioned this... I realized the Diamond Crevasse sang in Ep20 is diff from the original Diamond Crevasse from the OST, it sounds more sobbing(my english is bad, duno if sobbing the right word). Not because the scene makes it more sobbing, it's just sounds quite different from the OST, u should be able to notice the difference if u listen to them carefully. Not sure whether was it just the quality of the mp3 that's playing tricks on me. Anyway, someone in the Chinese forum even says Ep20 Diamond Crevasse has a diff lyrics. Is that true?

I have a Question! btw do everybody still remember the Promotion Video of Macross F b4 it's out? There's a white VF-25 w/ blue/purple strips, is it just a "pre-prodution" valk that has been changed/removed or is it going to show out sometime?

u guys forgot to mentioned one terrible thing about the 19; the ultimate Crooked gunpod alignment when it's mounted under the 19 in fighter mode. Do any MWers here has any problems with the VF-0S + Ghost combo? Maybe the problems like arms/shoulders have been solved? My Zero is fine, just the gunpod was unable to fix well in fighter mode, but it was easily fixed. personally I think it's more risky to wait for the 21 as u know Yamato always have QC problems; if it is a major QC prob like the Arms of the Zero or something worst, it would be terrible. I would suggest u go for the VF0S w/ Ghost set to complete the Mac0 heroes' valks.

I think this is a little over-analyzed. The captured Vajra didn't response to Ranka singing on the hill is probably because the producers think the "awaken of the Vajra" story event isn't necessary on that episode yet. My 2 Cents

/Salute Did u watch the show frame by frame? I replayed it 3 times and confirmed it can't be recognised without pausing the video or slowing down the playing rate.

Personally I think the Language aspect is purely Anime Magic. (language and sound in space have been Anime Magic for a long long time) Just like whoever mentioned it before; Sara (or the Mayans[years back since I last watched M0, were they mentioned as the Mayans?]) shouldn't be able to speak/sing/learn French. It's probably the producers that wanna make the Song sang in M0 French, no particular reason about it I think.

Sorry that I couldn't stop myself from correcting things regarding HD... HDTV is resolutions 720p, 1080i/p. And there's no such thing as Standard Digital Resolution though there's a Standard Defination resolution which is PAL or NTSC which is 576i/p or 480i/p respectively. The convertion of the Resolution is call up/down-scaling, and there're softwares/devices/machines to do the Scalings at minimal loss of details that u won't even get to spot it on a 50" 1080p HDTV. I'm not good on computer hardware so I have no idea on the part interlace or progressive scan will make any different on PC monitors but I do know the diff(in graphic) between 1080 interlace or progressive could only be spotted on any HDTV(that support 1080i/p) that's 42" or bigger. Sorry for the above Off-topic. BTW Can someone please please make the gif of the scene Mikhail used his finger to block Klan's "rapid attack" in Nyan Nyan?

When Ozma fully turned his head, Alto has already walked into the room. I just double checked; Ozma could only see Kathy but not Alto at that scene. Please pardon me but why Ozma have to recognize Alto? Did I miss something?
