I dunno about that... it just looks like a VF-0 mixed with a VF-1 complete with a little VF-11 thrown in for good measure.

Using the Alpha as an example: if the arched back was removed/fixed in the design, the die cast was placed in places that actually made sense, the joints weren't loose, and the hands didn't break so easily then yes, I would be willing to pay $80. As it is now $50 is my ceiling. Chances are I won't find a Bernard for that price though.

Damn, you missed the BEST line of Macross Zero! Well, the best aside from Roy's screaming. He's badass. *Ivanov's jaw drops* Reactive Armor?! [attachmentid=40579][attachmentid=40580][attachmentid=40581]

I concur, Jenius. When I do end up getting an MPC Alpha/Legioss, it'll be in Guardian/Armo-Diver mode most of the time. I think it looks beefy when it is on the ground. [borat] Flying not so much. [/borat] -

That's more what I meant... the VF-1 Gerwalk looks awesome. -
Shaun of the Dead GO WATCH!

Indeed, I liked Shaun of the Dead as well. I've been meaning to pick the DVD up for a while. When I went to see Smokin' Aces two weeks ago, the audience was actually roaring with laughter when the Hot Fuzz trailer was playing. -

Most people here will probably disagree with you on that, myself included. Gerwalk looks like a freaking hawk swooping down on its prey. I love it. -

1) They did, actually. For a specific instance, look at "Forces of Valor" collectibles. The die cast tanks/armor used to be $30, but now they cost $45. All because of the zinc, apparently. Star Wars toys have gone up in price as well, just as an fyi. They were 4.99 in 2003, 5.99 in 2004-2005, and 6.99 in 2006. Same thing with Hasbro's Titanium line (not the MSRP, strangely enough - the retailers all jacked the prices up by a dollar from 4.99 to 5.99.) -

I consider the breaking plastic an even larger problem than the non-locking feet or loose elbows. -
I want it too... argh! Curse this expensive hobby!

Robotech took three Japanese shows (Macross, Southern Cross, and Mospeada) and tried to make one show out of them. The shows (in their original forms) have no relation to one another. And maybe a Mospeada expert can correct me, but I think that the reason the Legioss has the three modes is because they were copying Macross' success in that department? -

T.R. Edwards has a flashback to when Rick saved Lisa @ Alaska Base. Edwards was still alive and Rick flew over him and didn't rescue him, so he has been holding a grudge for 20 years. -

What the other guys said. PLUS, the VFA-6 is the Robotech designation... in Mospeada it is the Legioss. -

I was looking through the Prelude comics last night, and here's some things that may interest the Macross/Mospeada/Southern Cross fans here. I can scan them if anyone wants. -Minmay screaming when Kyle is shot -dead Kyle -Lisa on the bridge of the SDF-3 before and during T.R. Edwards' attack -Lisa in the hospital, Rick finding out that she lost the baby when she was wounded -micronized Breetai with a goofy headpiece -Invid Regent -Breetai and other micronized Zentraedi in specialized Bioroid armor (actually looks pretty good) -Rick in Cyclone armor -A whopping three frames with the VF-1S -Genesis pit on Optera -holographic(?) Minmay kissing T.R. Edwards -lots of Alpha/Beta dogfights -the more advanced Invid mecha -Dana meeting the Zor clone from Tirol "Do I know you?" -Dana seeing Maia and then walking away without saying anything -Dr. Lang and Exedore on the science ship with Janice -Exedore flipping out just prior to the Neutron S missiles going off -Lisa is on the SDF-3 with Rick -

I only read End of the Circle and the comics made perfect sense to me. It was nice seeing the SDF-3 for a page or two BEFORE they made it even uglier. Breetai was cool in the Bioroid armor as well. -
Hmmm... it *would* be nice to have a Roy 0S vs. Ivanov display this summer. Hmmmm...

Mwahahaha lol. A quick glance on google/wikipedia says you are probably correct. Metamucin itself is apparently used as a dye to detect lung cancer. Well, at least in one medical journal. -

Holy crap, I didn't realize that they were going for so much! I bought them last spring for $20 off of RT.com. -
Damn! I need one of the rubbery ones from the thigh (lol). Heck, does anyone even bother to recast them?

Alrighty, this is all good to hear. Now I just need to find/get a new screw cover. :| (see customizing forum)

It's funny... I enjoyed the comics more than the movie itself. No joke.
