1. Well. Will anybody else PM Graham about this, or should I do it? (I think someone who's more of a veteran on this site would get a better reponse from 'em.)
2. I fully agree --- I personally would like to be able to purchase just the strike armor from the 1J stealth. Haterist, please fill me in if you can find a way to run this idea by Yamato!
3. Nice questions. I say, we recommend simple small boxes, with three heads, completely plain white, with a gunpod. I'm not sure what they'd say to the extra accessories, but I'd suggest they sell those separately to make more money offa'us. (We need to make sure we take the stance of humble beggars who feed off of Yamato and are trying to get them to open up a soup kitchen that isn't free.) English... Japanese... I'm going to assume that somebody answering mails there speaks both, so I wouldn't worry. I'm almost tempted to PM Graham again and see what he has to say. By the way, who exactly can tell us what email address we need to bombard?
4. Okay on a lighter note... if we all banded together and bombarded Yamato with emails and nagged them all at once; maybe they'd listen. The employees who can read mails from guys like me who don't speak Japanese anyway. I'll just end whatever I write with "Oyasumi." (Did I spell that right?) 406512 Set a time, date and e-mail addres, and I'm with you. I imagine if they got 50-100 all at once, it would get someone's attention. 406521 *laughing* You get me the email address we need to hit up, and I'll do everything I can to organize a mass mailing. Just like Michael Jackson, we can heal the world, and make it a better place, for you and ....
5. Geez. Until I'm rich and famous someday which I will inevitably be, I think I'll be putting my model kits together myself. ... 'soon as I get around to buying a model kit...

7. I don't know what you people are talking about. I think EXO's comments are always funny and pretty much right on the mark. The fact that he's a moderator I'm assuming is a tribute to Shawn and Graham's sense's of humor. Another thing I'd like to add that I didn't put in before, is that when it comes to customizing a 1/48 and putting a lot of time and effort into it, it ceases to be a toy. You can't "play" with it after you've spent hours trying to make it look perfect - the decals and details will get messed up. Even just transforming them requires a LOT of time and care. There's my 2 cents.
8. And I will be weeping pitifully.
9. decorum? You're trying to make fun of people that have different taste than you and you asking me for decorum? I've already warned you in detail about your ignorant posts, if you choose to ignore them then I'll choose not to reiterate myself. This thread is about Yamato toys, not some super expensive, hardly available, and dated piece of non transforming resin. 406430 I don't even know what the hell the super ultimate thriller wet dream detail valkyrie kit is. I watched Robotech as a kid. Now I'm 26 and I like Macross enough to spend money on nice transforming Yamato valks. I even like them enough to customize them, and as much as I like battroid mode, I don't want something that just stays that way unless it's one of my super poseables, which I'm assuming cost significantly less than the ultra dynamic ceramic detail dream boat blow me resin kit. Just felt like being sarcastic there. No offense intended. Not really anyway. And maybe I became a nerd this year when I fell in love with Macross all over again, but my wife still loves me, and still looks good and hasn't started gaining weight over my anime tragedy. So ha. And I forgot to add, I still look damn good too, damnit.
10. Once again... freaking awesome, luv it!
11. I dont see why that would affect their sales when it comes to their varients and schemes, people will still buy the "official" releases over customs. I would say the blank scheme would just count as another run, so it would do nothing buy increase sales. 406005 I agree with EXO. It would make wanna be customizers like myself actually get one for customizing, as I can't bring myself to hack up a pristine 1/48 in the name of art. So, I'd end up buying the official releases and the blanks... 406103 I've hacked up 2 1/48's using "experimental" paint removal methods and watched my money swirl down the toilet with a loud tear-inducing WHOOSH as the ABS plastic did all sorts of things from cracking, crumbling, staining, to other creative and inventive things. Can you hear that loud flush? I really rrrrrrreally would like to see a nice little baggie even with no directions would be great, filled with nice little white 1/48 scale pieces and screws.
12. ...and make them available at Rock Bottom Prices and smaller packaging, Please 405673 This thread is giving me anxiety now. Why oh why can't all these happy thoughts come true.
13. But how do you save your spot on a game????
14. Everyone join hands with me now and we'll pray. "Yamato, bring us a ___ valk kit, so we may mod without paint removal."
15. Thanks - am awaiting anxiously for a Max VF-1A reissue!! 405274 I wish they'd just reissue everything all at once and then keep doing it forever.
16. I'm not sure if Graham is doing the talk to Yamato thing either, but I haven't heard otherwise, he was really polite when I PM'd him about it, and he gave me reason to believe that he'd run the idea by them.
17. I PM'd Graham about it. Hopefully someday this can really happen.
18. Hahahah! Yeah, I tell the wife it's good for me to have nice yamato toys for my kid to look at and never touch or I'll kill him, because it's teaching him to appreciate the imaginative side of life. From a safe distance.
19. 4000 yen?. I would have totally taken that gamble. Hell, even if it was damaged, it would be worth it for the spare parts. 404135 4000 yen = about $35-40 US. I agree with Mechmaniac...I would have grabbed it and modded it. 404177 *raises hand* I have to agree. That Roy's head would be on my MG2.
20. As soon as I can find this game cheap, I'm all on it. Thanks everybody! ---Bri
21. Thank you so much, one and all! YOU ARE APPRECIATED! Macrossworld rocks. Coolest people on the net. Sincerely, ---Brian
22. You know what... if someone could just tell me exactly where to download the correct Mame32 with everything I need to go with it, I'll give you my 2nd born. It's a lot to ask, but any of you humanitarian/altruistic types out there with time to spare, please help. *gets on knees* puh-LEEEEEEAZE if I can ever help you with anything, I promise I will! --Bri
23. Brian, do you have MAME32 Version 0.90u1?, the most recent emulator that's available? You may need to download that since most of the bugs with previous varaints are fixed in this update. Also, Did you try rescanning the rom directory to see if it works? Also about your controller, did you try restarting your computer for your computer to fully recognize the controller? If so, I think that should have done it but to configure your controls, go into the options menu, select default game options, click on the controller tab and where it says enable joysick input, click on that. I think the program assumes that any type of controller you have whether it be a flight joystick, or PC controller or etc, is a joystick. Then when you start a new game , remap the buttons like you do and the program should auto save your buuton configuration. 404008 Thanks a bunch, I'm checking the web to see where I can download it right now. Also, I'm using Mame 0106b? I think it is
24. Yes, my old friends all believe I have gone insane.
