What the heck. For a while there I was pretty excited about a great new 1/100 toy line coming out, spiffing-up people's office desks everywhere. Now what is it, dead in the water? Did toynami have a hard time deciding whether or not to market the 1J's as Macross rather than Robotech? Did they realize they're spending way too much money on fancy boxes? What's the deal here...

I just got my 1/60 VF Zero, and it's great. But where do those funky red stickers go, that aren't in the instruction booklet? They've got like, wolf heads on them. They look really cool too --- I wanna' stick'em on mine. Unfortunately, I have no idea whre to put them. If someone knows the answer to this question, please fill me in! Thanks. --Bri

I'm glad I was able to buy some sets off you before you stopped making them! I knew it was a good move to get those extras. Good luck with the PHD! I agree with Mech's review. What I'm wondering now though is... where are the fast packs? Where are the next releases? Did these things really sell that bad? Has Toynami finally gone under?

I realized that I wouldn't be able to obtain a PS3 for quite sometime. So... I broke down and bought an Xbox 360... but I'm still gonna' get a pS3 eventually, of course.

I'm wondering what's going on as well. I pre-ordered a set of VF1Js and they should have shipped in September. ? And heck, if they end up getting sold off for cheap, great news. PS: I also wrote toynami about the crappy stands, and they said they'd send me replacement parts... which I'm still waiting for. It's been about two months.

I'm 27. I wonder how old I'll be when Yamato stops making Macross altogether? Man, my collection could really pile up over the years. Taking that into account... I think I may end up with quite a few 1D's. That's great. But for the short term, I have no patience.

As long as they're not going off a mile a minute about who plays for what team for what sport for how long and for what reasons, then they're fine with me. Man, I have a cousin-in-law who's having a baby boy in a couple months, and no joke, he's going to name him Espn, pronounced "Espin." The two of us really don't have a whole lot to say to each other. But I think he's a nice guy despite the fact.

Yeah... but what sucks, is that what if the PS3 Macross game only get released in Japan? How will we play that on our American systems? I won't want to modify a frickin', 600 dollar system. Hell no.

I just read an article about Gears of War and that game is almost convincing me to buy a 360. Must...hold...out...for...metalgear... I wonder if Metal Gear will blow away Gears of war anyways? (yes yes, I know they're different genres)

I'm not condoning cosplaying. I'm not saying I'd do it on any other day than Halloween (and only then if I had the money to make a badass costume.) I've never been to any sort of convention before, so I've never seen cosplayers in real life - I've only viewed them on pictures on the web. I'm making the assertion that cosplayers are probably a whole lot less disruptive, loud, ridiculous, obsessed, and passionate about what they do than your average sports-junky. I'm guessing there are equal proportions of fat people on each side of the spectrum. But food and hot dog chunks probably fly out of the mouth of more screaming sports fatties then cosplay fatties. Edit: I'd also like to say, that because I've never actually beheld a cosplayer in real life, that automatically makes the sports junkies 150% more annoying and irritating.

Ps3 ruined my childhood.

(It's a Phillips!) (Rear Projection 60') Anyway, I have an Xbox, and a Sony PS2. And I literally own two games for my xbox (one of which they made for PS2), and about 15 for my Ps2. Xbox never had any games that were exclusive and managed to catch my attention. I imagine this will be the same for the PS3. Xbox 360 has been out for what, a year almost now? I haven't seen one game that's caused me to wish I had the 360. But, games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Devil May Cry 4, and FFxIII have got me drooling already. I used to think Xbox was superior to the ps2, and by hardware standards it probably is, but the games didn't impress. If history repeats itself, the playstation 3 library will have better games. I think the price sucks, but hey. If the PS3 keeps me busy for the next 6 years that's just fine. I just won't be able to buy anymore Yamato toys for a while. Tha's the only TRUE downside...

Well, with a 60 inch projection, the movies look just like on a 16:9. You have a large black area on top and bottom, but the part of the screen displaying the actual movie is so huge it makes no difference. And I don't have to worry about my TV sqashing television programs.
