1. Yeah, the pic is good. I just hope the page/main site was a little bit more appealing especially to newbies to Macross. We old geeks know this stuff, so the content matters most for us.
2. Black Aaadddeeerrr Black Aaaaaddeeerrrr.... His cooodpiece made of black Meeetaaaallll...
3. I link to MW at a Finnish anime forum, in my sig. Sadly that front page is hardly making any new Macross fans...
4. I didn't yet find any good colored pics of that military Garland. But about Wilde Sau, I found an awesome model build up. I like the model very much, even if I don't know Megazone at all. Wilde Sau Only thing that bothers me a little, is that "codpiece"...
5. I would ask exactly the same thing... Though maybe not toys on my mind.
6. I'm looking forward for new kits from Hasegawa... Macross model kit stuff in general. Maybe too optimistic, but Destroids & bad guys. One can always dream. Oh how awesome it would be to be there once in a life!!! Hopefully we see lots of good pics! I'd really want to see the gk stuff they show there.
7. This guy did... 10000 kits If I understood it right, they're up to auction them, since the guy passed away. You'd just have to live within driving distance of North Carolina. Man there are over 400 1/48 scale Hasegawa F-4's alone!
8. Me too, when possible. In the case my last post about it wasn't noticed. Though, the decals would be shipped with the first kits too? And I would get the instructions via computer?
9. Yes, matchbox really knew how to make justice for "Macross"... Matchbox rules
10. I will make them just how they are, only putty the depressions on the parts etc basic stuff just to get some more modeling experience and stuff on the shelves. But for your scratch building skills, you could make them whatever you'd want to. ^^ Though, yes, they're maybe not even worth modifying. Man, you gotta scratch build us some other Zent ship in that big size!
11. I'm afraid not. I would think we might be talking something like $150-$250. Really hard to say, that is also so big one. I've been wondering this myself too. But for 50 bucks, you don't get many resin models. Except some recasts. Yeah, agreed. Pretty much like green chocolate bars. I bought all 4 of them recently. But I knew what I was doing, they're still better than no cucumbers at all ^^
12. Well I just love exactly that glossy red!
13. Did you now suggest I should go for playdoh modeling? Thanks MechTech, I'll have to figure out what is the best way to do it here.
14. A few thousand panel lines should do the trick. 369349 Well DUH! 369439 I was almost thinking making them myself if they weren't done already But seriously, I imagined that random panel painting technique used on that ship. Lots of masking but it would look so awesome!
15. D'oh! I'm not sure did I understand this so well... Couldn't find any translation to brusless either. Umm, but I have a bit difficult circumstances regarding the spray booth. It's a bit hard to explain. This is an appartment house, first floor, and there often goes people under my window, people live upstairs, staircase door is a couple of meters from my window and somebody might complain about the whole thing, even if there's noise from the fan, or if somebody just doesn't think it's ok to do that. Yep, and there are cars parked too a couple of meters from my window... Well, there may be another solution, there is a possibility to do the booth in a basement room. It's just that where to exhaust it. There might also be a solution to that, but it still needs some thinking etc... Even trying, will the smell go to public staircase. Another possibility is... There's another HUGE basement hall, where is connected a small suitable room to build models (no natural light though...). But there's no way to get that spray booth tube go out. No windows. Is it possible to spray in a big space without exhausting the fumes out, if I use respirator all the time? Or just leading the exhaust to the bigger hall. It's just full of junk that nobody cares. Doing anything outside isn't possible either btw... I wish I could just make the spray booth in my appartment and just concentrate on building models. Sorry if this whole story didn't make no sense at all.
