Note that the Legioss foot configuration is not the same for diver and soldier modes. The Toyrise appears to have more limited foot articulation that doesn't allow the front of the foot to splay out and flatten in diver mode as it typically would. It also looks like the heel cannot be extended back like the Sentinel does with a slider mechanism. Compare the Toyrise to Sentinel below, pic courtesy of Jenius' site I see no reason why you couldn't leave the feet configuration and use it diver for soldier as well and I doubt it would negatively affect balance. It just wouldn't be accurate to how the feet are supposed to be configured and look for soldier, which is the heel flipping down and not extended back like for diver. Using the diver feet configuration for soldier would also reduce the height of the figure and the figure is pretty small as is being smaller than the Sentinel.

Between the forward swept wings plus the head placement on top in fighter mode with the head laser/fin sticking out and the guns on a hinge like a mission pack, it kind of reminds me of a VF-31. Not totally sold on this line yet but looking forward to seeing the reviews after they're released.

Price drop to $109 at Amazon. https://a.co/d/0bZE3Cn3 Edited - has dropped even lower to $98

The price of the 19P continues to drop for those interested but were turned off at the original price. Now at $134 shipped at Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/TAMASHII-NATIONS-Excalibur-Planetary-Hi-Metal/dp/B0FCZS3BF2 Wouldn't surprise me if it continues to go even lower as I don't think anything Macross 7 will have that much demand. Edited: now down to $109

Yea, I tightened up the joints on the left side on mine. It's fine now aside from the forearm slider that's still a little easy to come undone. I've done about 4 or 5 transformations back and forth. I've also noticed some white paint scraping off to reveal the silver underneath at the edges of some parts like the shoulder swivel where it meets the shoulder pads as well as that hip piece that can be a little fiddly to get into place in fighter and gerwalk.

Not including shipping, but no tax if you're outside of Washington state. Still, frankly too pricey for my taste for a HMR, although I sucked it up and got the 19P at preorder. I wouldn't be surprised if the price on Amazon drops even more if you're patient.

ThreeZero ROBOTECH (Macross) Toys
WhatBoutMyStar replied to kyekye's topic in Anime or Science Fiction
It seems like it's inevitable on the Threezero that the "Beware of Blast" tampos on the nose sensors are going to get scraped off -
Cheapest I've seen the 19P for a shop in the US is kicksgenerationtoys at $140 before shipping (no tax if you're outside of Washington state). Seems like everywhere else like eknight, Kappa Hobby and so on are at $180+

I finally got around to opening mine up tonight despite getting it about a month ago. The QC is noticeably worse than on my HMR fire valk, which had tight joints all around (perhaps too tight in some areas). Not sure if others have the same issue on their 19P, but some of the joints on the left side in battroid mode aren't well toleranced on mine. Gerwalk joint is very loose and floppy. Knee/thigh swivel is also very loose. Knee itself is acceptable, but still quite a bit looser compared to the right knee. The forearm slider, although it clicks and locks in, is very easy to unlock and slide back down when handling the figure. There's also a bit of wiggle play in that forearm even when it's clicked in. I have none of those problems on the right side, either the right arm or right leg. Overall, all the joints on the 19P, even on the right side, feel looser compared to the HMR fire valk out of the box. Still like the figure a lot though, and hopefully the joint looseness on the left side can be remedied with some floor polish.

I don't mind the added Walkure logo on the vertical stabilizers but it wouldn't surprise me if it's a turn off for a lot of others. Assuming this is a WWM release, I wonder if it's destined to hit the discount bin like other WWM releases up to this point even though there are some folks that weren't able to pick it up the first time around before the secondary market prices skyrocketed. Still, I can't imagine there'd be huge demand for this and it might be better to wait for the price to drop.

Country of origin for purposes of the tariffs is based on where the product was made, not from where it is shipped. From what I've read on places like myfigurecollection.net, which has an extremely long thread consisting of hundreds of posts on the tariffs issue, HLJ is one of few (along with Good Smile's online store) that accurately marks the country of origin as China compared to the overwhelming majority of others (like amiami, Mandarake, etc.) that have historically put down Japan as the COO for everything that they ship. From what I've seen, DHL also has a processing/brokerage fee of $17 that they tack on in addition to the tariffs for their handling of the paperwork or whatever to clear customs. From what I've read, I think UPS' processing fee may be even higher, but I'm not completely sure.

I thought it was already determined that the Toyrise Legioss was 1/60 according to this tweet. https://x.com/sakichooboys/status/1922596757168374217 So it'll be a little smaller than the Sentinel. We've seen pics of it on a stand that looks equivalent to a Tamashii stage mech stand, so it's going to be a relatively smaller figure.
