    I got one just cuz I only have the Messer 31F. The only other versions I would want are the Arad and Kairos and both are crazy expensive now. I did pick up the Armored parts so will eventually want to slap them on someone... Hopefully that new, darker Arad color in the movie preview will be released.

    That's interesting, my shipping was quoted as 4,080 yen to the US via FedEx/DHL. That seemed reasonable during these times. Were you planning to combine shipments with other stuff?

    Yamato 1/48 Stealth w/ Strike Pack. Probably the only Yamato VF-1 I'll ever get, just love this color scheme. Quite a different experience from the Bandai DXs. Snagged it off Mandarake for a decent price, although shipping was killer. Box was a bit beat up but the contents were pristine. My one big gripe about Yamato is... They make their boxes so freaking huge. Shipping them sucks!

    Probably just not much demand. Nin-Nin's price wasn't too bad even just now with DHL shipping around $245 USD.

    That's probably going to be the case, or like the YF-29 Full Set Pack. Bandai is pretty good at packing things tight when they really want to. The smaller the better, cheaper shipping and easier to hide from your s/o lol.

    It's a custom build commission using the 1/72 Hasegawa kit as a base, made by professional modeler for the Dengeki Hobby magazine...you see the process in the spreads after.

    Never used them before, how are their shipping costs? That price is reasonable.

    @Angesdad Nin-Nin has been very reliable for me, I've gotten 7-8 orders through them the past 5 years and they've always come through. They get a bit pricey in the later rounds and there's that Paypal foreign exchange fee nonsense mentioned earlier that can't be avoided but they have been reliable for me.

    I've tried, the option to change currency isn't there for some reason.

    It seems so, usually through PayPal you can change to pay in local currency but that option isn't there. Adds about 16 dollars or so to the final price.

    I looked at their price for the Metal Build Crossbone Full Cloth, and it didn't seem very friendly compared to what I paid for it from P-Bandai. Will be curious to know though, it seems it's a reliable site for TF folks. And now that I think of it, their price included shipping, so maybe it wasn't that bad. With P-Bandai I have to wait an extra month or so after release in Japan since it makes it way on boat to US for distribution.

    Same here...was trying to figure out. Usually I have the option of paying in local currency since I have a credit card that doesn't charge foreign exchange fees, but somehow that option isn't there.

    Got one at Nin Nin, albeit at the "raised" price. Oh well, peace of mind. I might sell my two standalone GBP sets to fund this lol...That way I'll still have a naked 1J and a GBP to display.

    Eh, got HobbySearch and HLJ into cart but both died on me afterwards....welp. Oh well I got the armor set on PO, so at least I have backup. Will piskup the combo if I see it for a good price elsewhere.

    Some sellers were able /willing to ship to US, at least in my case. It was generally available for about a week afterwards.

    I remember Roy 1S was offered on Amazon. JP by some sellers afterwards. I got my second copy that way. Here's hoping for the same here.
