  2. Lol...you guys are brutal. You all know that Mandarake allows you to process your item in cart and then they send a follow up email confirming availability before you can pay. If that was a storefront item, it might have been sold locally or even to someone online before @canklebreaker was able to acquire it. It's very possible that he indeed snagged it during the day in the States only to be told over night (with the time difference) that the item was no longer available.
  3. I was reading a post on FB from the Macross Fans - US group page. Someone from the board here posted promoting MW and a guy replied: "They are the reason why preorders run out on Bandai valks." Kinda got a kick out of that For example, I'm sure this thread provides lurkers with a ton of info who don't actually contribute. *shrugs*
  4. Yeah, that’s what I’d be afraid of. I’m just hoping that the the 1J was an initial run to test the market, and after the quick turnaround of 1A to 1S, we see something sooner. In theory, the molds exist now for a whole badass run between SDFM TV and DYRL. Paint and markings would be the major changes.
  5. So, we had the 1J pre-order July 2018, 1A pre-order April 8 and the 1S on June 3. It appears that we’ll see at least see a DYRL Roy 1S, Max and Kakizaki based on Strike Parts description. When do you all project the next one?

  8. There are still missiles for sale but they are fairly marked up. It's my understanding that Bandai doesn't typically re-release TWEs. In general, I find that our idea of polite and customer service can have subtle differences than Japanese culture in that we are an individualistic and low context culture while Japan is a collectivist and high context culture. (Not correcting you or even suggesting that you aren't aware of this. Really just mentioning for the community's sake because it's been a hot topic in recent weeks as to contacting various shops about our POs. Anyone interested should just google those terms. ) And crazy that you still have a lost package from 2017 with NY! Annnnd you still order from them? Kudos. Glad the VF-1S PO got ironed out.
  11. I wonder if those who ordered from NY on the second wave show April? Glad you reached out and reported! I thought that would be the case. Their website is just not robust so it’s not surprising.

  13. Yeah, their website isn't known for it's state-of-the-art web 2.0 fanciness. It seems that the product page is the same as the original. You could message their customer service for clarification? I know some sites are ridiculous when it comes to asking questions about orders, but that's really the whole point of customer service, ya know? For me, whenever I approach a question with one of the Japanese sites, I try to do it as complimentary to the store as possible without sounding like a demanding, entitled American (since I'm from the states) that is questioning their integrity.
